Course Curriculum Overview
i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
Fees and Financial Aid
yearly fee for my course is around 99,000 and total fee for 4 years is around 3.96 lakh. there are some other charges also depending on the year and facilities. fee is also increasing for new batches. scholarships are available for eligible students but the amount depends on eligibility and approval. overall fees are a little high compared to the facilities and placement opportunities provided by the college...
Campus Life
campus life is average overall. there are some annual events and technical activities but they are not held on a very large scale. clubs and student activities are available but participation is limited compared to bigger colleges. library has basic books and study material but more updated books and journals could be provided. classrooms have basic facilities like projectors and computers but some facilities need improvement. sports and extracurricular activities are available but options are limited. overall social life is okay but there is still a lot of scope for improvement.
Admission
i chose CDGI mainly because my JEE percentile was low and i did not have many good options at that time. i wanted to stay in Indore so CDGI was one of the easier options for admission. the admission process was simple and there was not much difficulty in getting a seat. honestly, college fees are quite high compared to the overall placement and facilities. placements are average and industry exposure is also limited. i selected it more because of my situation and available options, not because it was my first choice.
Faculty
teachers are mostly helpful and you can ask them doubts easily. some teachers explain things well but some just complete the syllabus. exams are not very hard if you study regularly. there are internal tests and semester exams. checking is mostly normal. the course is okay for basic knowledge but more practical learning is needed for better job preparation.
Night Life
there is not much nightlife around the college as the campus closes in the evening. gym, cafeteria and library also have fixed timings and are generally not available late at night. hostel students usually have to follow hostel timings and restrictions. students mostly hang out at nearby cafes, malls or food places in Indore after classes. the locality around the college is generally okay but it is better to avoid going out very late. overall, nightlife is quite limited.
