Best govt. College in Chandigarh

College have well infrastructure and well developed laboratories that help students alot but the college campus doesn't have WiFi zones for students ,also college generally college get less budget from the govt ,so they can't provide super hi-tech facility

In our college all bachelor course of offered, including Bsc medical, BSc microbiology, BSc biotechnology, Bsc non medical,Bsc IT, BSc computer science ,BA,BCom,BCA etc, exam are taken semester wise, each semester is of 6 months and the practice exams are taken anually

Students got placement and quite well packages from the company's ,a separate job fair is organised to invite companies, a bright student with 70-80% of aggregate marks can get a placement of about 3-4 lakh ,also sometimes they got more, around 10 lakhs.

Almost all the religious festivals are celebrated in college, and every month many awareness program are taken like,van mohotsav, animal biodiversity etc. during holi a DJ party is also organised for all students

The college fee is less in comparison with the other colleges and universities , the fee for science branch is almost 12 to 13 thousand per semester ,and for BA the fee is around 10 to 12 thousand per semester ,for BCA fee is 27 thousands per semester.

College also provide schloarship to the brilliant students that score more than 90 percent of marks in smester exams , also scholarship are given to the students those are financially weaken , having annual income less than 1 lakh

College have all subject laboratory facilities for science student like chemistry lab, physics lab, botany lab, zoology lab, college also have swimming facility and also have a gym, college have athletic court also and separate football ground ,at regular intervals of time different tournaments are organised in college

The college also have hostel facility, separate hostel for boys and girls are available , and hostel have a capacity of 1000 students accomodation, same for the girls, warden are also appointed to take care of students also the food provide is of very good quality

Its a government college and they provide all facilities, i have seen ,their is no ragging towards the students, even during the admission, all students have to fill antiragging affidavit ,the senior are very good , polite, and kind, generally help their juniors

I got admission on the basis of merit, admissions are seduled during the june of the year,to get admission u have to clear PUCET exam of panjab University, and if u want to got admission in panjab University affiliated colleges you must have more than 60% marks in your 12th class, you have to register yourself on , Chandigarh administration online admission program and fill all crediantials

All the faculty are good at their work, their teaching strategies are good. They only provide students with knowledge which is present in the books but they should also provide students with industry knowledge, that how the work is done in the industries. The practical performd are well and good
