Alliance Manchester Business School fees for Indian students use GBP (British pound sterling) and INR (Indian rupee) for budgeting. Postgraduate (PG) tuition spans £30,500 (INR 39.49 Lakhs) to £37,800 (INR 48.94 Lakhs) across one-year routes. Undergraduate (UG) tuition is £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs) for most courses. The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Information Technology (IT) Management for Business route costs £35,200 (INR 45.58 Lakhs). Master of Science (MSc) Management costs £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs) for one year.

Manchester cost of living is £18,188 (INR 23.55 Lakhs) for a 52-week postgraduate budget. University accommodation should be priced first, because the university publishes halls from £487 (INR 63,057) monthly. Private house shares cost £645 (INR 83,515) to £710 (INR 91,931), including average bills.

The representative postgraduate route, MSc Management, needs about INR 65.21 Lakhs at the lower living assumption. It needs about INR 66.22 Lakhs at the higher living assumption. That range combines £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs) tuition, 12 months of Manchester living, and one-year visa charges. The 2027/28 tuition rate remains unpublished, so the 2026/27 rate supports comparison until Manchester releases the next official figure.

All INR conversions use 1 GBP = INR 129.48, from open.er-api.com on 30 August 2026.

  • Postgraduate applications carry a £60 (INR 7,769) non-refundable application fee.
  • International undergraduates pay 20% of the standard fee during an additional work-placement or study-abroad year.

September 2027 Intake: Next workable entry

Intake: September 2026 is closed for new visa applicants. September 2027 is the next workable full-time intake. January intake is not offered for these full-time Alliance Manchester Business School undergraduate or taught postgraduate routes.

Fee update: For 2026/27, PG tuition is £30,500 (INR 39.49 Lakhs) to £37,800 (INR 48.94 Lakhs). UG tuition is £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs), except IT Management for Business at £35,200 (INR 45.58 Lakhs). Global Futures can reduce eligible PG tuition by £12,000 (INR 15.54 Lakhs).

When to pay: The September 2027 deposit deadline is offer-letter specific and not published. Taught masters normally require £2,500 (INR 3.24 Lakhs) before the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). The deposit reduces tuition.

Scholarships: Global Futures closes 30 March 2027 for UG and 25 April 2027 for PG. Both routes require eligible offer conditions. No external Indian award has a confirmed open 2027 deadline in the fetched provider pages.

Five full-time Undergraduate (UG) routes cost £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs) annually. IT Management for Business costs £35,200 (INR 45.58 Lakhs).

All five Bachelor of Science (BSc) routes list September starts, and the 2026/27 fee remains the latest published rate.

At unchanged current rates, the four-year figure uses three standard years. The additional year uses 20% of the standard international fee. This is not a future-fee forecast.

  • BSc International Management has four years, so its additional year changes the full-course calculation.
  • BSc IT Management for Business is the outlier at £35,200 (INR 45.58 Lakhs) per year.
  • The mainstream three-year fee is £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs). Later years can rise up to 7% under university policy.
  • The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) equal-consideration deadline is 13 January 2027.

Note: For September 2027 comparison, the £37,800 (INR 48.94 Lakhs) band applies to Accounting, Accounting and Finance, and Finance. The separate Master of Business Administration (MBA) follows a different 15 or 18-month route.

Alliance Manchester Business School Fee Trend by Year

BSc International Management rose from £31,500 (INR 40.79 Lakhs) in 2025/26 to £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs) in 2026/27.

That £1,600 (INR 2.07 Lakhs) increase equals 5.1%, so a September 2027 budget needs a fresh fee check.

  • The 5.1% increase adds INR 2.07 Lakhs before currency movement or living costs.
  • Only two directly comparable official years were available for this route, so no longer trend is presented.
  • The 2027/28 rate is not published, so use 2026/27 figures for comparison and rerun totals after release.

Key Insight: September 2027 applicants should compare offers using £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs). That is the latest published BSc International Management rate. Recalculate before accepting an offer when Manchester publishes the 2027/28 fee.

Cost of Living in Manchester for Indian Students

Manchester’s published postgraduate living budget is £18,188 (INR 23.55 Lakhs) for 52 weeks. It includes £10,000 (INR 12.95 Lakhs) accommodation.

The monthly benchmark is £1,510 (INR 1.96 Lakhs), so housing selection changes the largest expense.

These living expenses cover housing, food, transport, and personal spending, but exclude tuition and visa charges.

  • Manchester has 19 university halls and more than 8,000 rooms, with halls within 2 miles of campus.
  • Most postgraduate taught contracts run 50 or 51 weeks, matching the 52-week living budget closely.
  • Private house shares include average bills in the university comparison, but check each lease for exclusions.
  • New full-time international postgraduate students can receive a university accommodation offer when guarantee conditions are met.
  • For September 2026, the accommodation guarantee deadline is 31 August 2026 for most eligible students.

Note: Manchester’s £18,188 (INR 23.55 Lakhs) postgraduate figure is a 52-week estimate. It includes private accommodation with average utilities, not tuition, visa charges, deposits, airfare, or exchange fees.

Use the £645 (INR 83,515) to £710 (INR 91,931) shared-house range when testing a second budget. Compare lease length and transport separately.

Currency Tip: September 2027 applicants can budget from £18,188 (INR 23.55 Lakhs) for Manchester living. Keep the first deposit separate from the registration instalment in sterling until the university releases a new fee-year estimate.

  • Living uses private shared-house rents of £645 (INR 83,515) to £710 (INR 91,931) monthly.
  • Mandatory fees show one Student Visa year plus one Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) year, not the full amount paid upfront.
  • The table excludes the £60 (INR 7,769) application fee, airfare, setup costs, future fee changes, and scholarship reductions.

Full Programme Tuition and Living: MSc Management

MSc Management tuition plus 12-month living totals £51,288 (INR 66.41 Lakhs) at unchanged current rates.

A INR 50 Lakhs loan implies a monthly equated instalment (EMI) of roughly INR 65,000 to INR 70,000. The term is ten years at 10.5%.

A 12-month course usually receives 17 months of Student Visa permission, so the IHS calculation rounds to 18 months.

That is £1,164 (INR 1.51 Lakhs) paid upfront, while the table uses £776 (INR 1.00 Lakh) for one year.

Key Insight: No full-payment discount is published for these MSc routes. Global Futures can reduce eligible MSc Management tuition by £12,000 (INR 15.54 Lakhs) to £21,100 (INR 27.32 Lakhs). Submit the 25 April 2027 postgraduate scholarship form before paying the next tuition instalment.

Alliance Manchester Business School Tuition Deposit and Payment Options

Alliance Manchester Business School normally requires a £2,500 (INR 3.24 Lakhs) taught-masters deposit before CAS issuance.

The deposit follows the offer-letter deadline, counts toward tuition, and is not an extra charge.

Course-specific Deposit Rules

MSc Management and MSc Finance use the £2,500 (INR 3.24 Lakhs) minimum. The same minimum applies to MSc Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.

Some offers can require a higher amount. India is not among the named higher-deposit countries on the current rule.

Refunds follow university conditions, including visa refusal cases; fraud or misleading information can change the outcome.

Methods of Payment

Manchester names two international payment providers in its instructions: Flywire and EasyTransfer.

  • Bank transfer or telegraphic transfer: use the bank details in the offer or payment instruction.
  • Flywire: Manchester names Flywire as an international payment provider.
  • EasyTransfer: Manchester also names EasyTransfer for international payments.
  • Forex card: a 2% to 3% saving against a raw wire is possible, depending on the provider and exchange spread.
  • Education-loan disbursement: send the sanction letter and release schedule before the instalment date.

Steps to Pay the Tuition Fee for International Students

Five steps cover the deposit, CAS, instalments, and receipt trail.

  1. Accept the unconditional offer before the offer-letter deadline.
  2. Pay the £2,500 (INR 3.24 Lakhs) tuition deposit and retain the receipt.
  3. Receive the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) after the university completes its checks.
  4. Pay the remaining tuition in three instalments, using the dates supplied for registration and later terms.
  5. Keep every bank, Flywire, or EasyTransfer receipt for the visa file.

For the September 2026 postgraduate schedule, registration is followed by instalments on 5 February 2027 and 12 May 2027.

After the deposit, MSc Management leaves a £30,600 (INR 39.62 Lakhs) balance. Two £15,300 (INR 19.81 Lakhs) instalments cover it.

The offer and registration notice control the dates for September 2027, because its schedule is not published yet.

Source: University of Manchester tuition deposit and payment pages.

Note: The £2,500 (INR 3.24 Lakhs) deposit must reach Manchester by the offer-letter deadline. Allow bank-transfer lead time before CAS. September 2026 applications closed on 5 July 2026, while September 2027 dates remain pending.

Hidden Costs of Studying at Alliance Manchester Business School

The pre-arrival minimum for MSc Management is about INR 5.98 to INR 6.06 Lakhs, before airfare and personal setup.

  • The postgraduate application fee is £60 (INR 7,769) when the selected course requires it.
  • The United Kingdom Student Visa fee is £558 (INR 72,250) for applications made outside the UK.
  • The full IHS for a typical 12-month course is £1,164 (INR 1.51 Lakhs). The annual rate is £776 (INR 1.00 Lakh).
  • The accommodation Advance Licence Fee is £400 (INR 51,792) and is deducted from first rent.
  • Maintenance evidence of £10,539 (INR 13.65 Lakhs) covers nine months outside London and is proof, not an extra fee.
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) retakes, tuberculosis tests, translations, bank fees, and setup costs remain variable.

Cash Needed Before Arrival: MSc Management

MSc Management requires about £4,682 (INR 6.06 Lakhs) in listed pre-arrival payments, including the application fee.

  • Student Visa: £558 (INR 72,250).
  • Full IHS: £1,164 (INR 1.51 Lakhs), paid with the application.
  • Accommodation Advance Licence Fee: £400 (INR 51,792), deducted from first rent.

The lower figure applies when no application fee is charged; the higher includes £60 (INR 7,769).

Budget approximately INR 5.98 to 6.06 Lakhs for first-year hidden costs.

Note: The IHS is the cost families most often miss. MSc Management’s typical 18-month charge is £1,164 (INR 1.51 Lakhs) and falls upfront with the visa application.

Review current visa cash requirements: read the UK Student Visa fee guide.

Fee Saving Strategies for Indian Students

The largest September 2027 saving is £12,000 (INR 15.54 Lakhs) from the Global Futures postgraduate award.

The September 2026 scholarship route is closed, so funding should be built around the next cycle.

  • For September 2027, apply as soon as the accommodation guarantee window opens. The current self-catered range starts at £487 (INR 63,057) monthly.
  • A full-time degree-level Student Visa normally permits 20 hours weekly during term time. It permits full-time work during vacations. Treat earnings as support, not proof of maintenance funds.
  • Section 80E of India’s Income Tax Act allows eligible individuals to claim higher-education loan interest. Tax rules apply, so keep bank sanction and interest certificates.
  • Choose a mainstream £33,100 (INR 42.86 Lakhs) course. IT Management for Business costs £35,200 (INR 45.58 Lakhs). That saves £2,100 (INR 2.72 Lakhs) annually.
  • Graduates applying from 1 January 2027 receive an 18-month Graduate visa under the current rule. Use it as an employment window, not guaranteed salary.

Return Evidence and Loan Test

A INR 50 Lakhs loan implies an EMI of roughly INR 65,000 to INR 70,000 monthly. The term is ten years at 10.5%.

Compare that fixed EMI with a signed offer, not a projected salary.

The 18-month Graduate visa can extend employment for the September 2027 route. It does not guarantee employment.

Key Insight: For September 2027, Global Futures can lower MSc Management tuition by INR 15.54 Lakhs. Tuition then reaches about INR 27.32 Lakhs. The decision depends on living costs and the INR 65,000 to INR 70,000 monthly EMI.

Compare the selected programme, intake, and deposit before committing: open the admissions guide.

September 2026 is not realistic for a new Indian applicant needing a Student Visa. September 2027 is the next workable route. MSc Management needs about INR 65.21 Lakhs to INR 66.22 Lakhs for its first year at current 2026/27 rates. Global Futures could reduce eligible postgraduate tuition by INR 15.54 Lakhs, while the 2027/28 fee remains unpublished. A INR 50 Lakhs loan carries roughly INR 65,000 to INR 70,000 monthly EMI. The course is quite rigid. Had it been flexible inculcating up to date information and teaching methods it would have been better. However, the seminars kind of made up for this issue but my course was really very rigid.

I choose to study Master’s from Alliance Manchester Business School because of its stellar reputation. My course is ranked as the 27th best post graduate business management degree in the world by QS rankings 2021.This course offers access to many extra-curricular activities to hone practical knowledge of the current dynamic corporate and participating in such an academic program will definitely allow one to sharpen and enhance their skills. It was extraordinary once in a lifetime experience. I cannot give enough justification and stress enough on how important it is to have a global study experience. It was worth every pound I spent. It gave me confidence, personality, a lot to learn and been able to expand my opportunities globally.
