I wanted to pursue my LLM in the UK because India and the UK have a similar legal structure. The University of Aberdeen is one of the top and oldest law school in the United Kingdom having heritage of 525years. It's a community of more than 130 nationalities, with 16,000 students. Aberdeen University ranks within top 10 universities in UK for Law.

    Course Curriculum :

Aberdeen University is one of the top research based public university in UK. In Law, it has wide array of courses ranging from LLM in Intellectual Property Rights, Human Rights to Energy Law. I have selected LLM in International Commercial Law and the course modules are up to date.

The reason I chose this university for their attention to the students. Starting from the application process itself the university pays full attention to its students concerns. They genuinely care and strive their best to clear all the doubts. The professors started having conversations with me even before I joined the university. They guided me to chose the course that was best for me and even helped me carry out all the formalities for the same.

    Course Curriculum :

University of Aberdeen focuses on skill based learning, skills that you actually require when you go out into the professional world after your degree. The course curriculum is very comprehensively designed and cover all the relevant areas of concern around a subject including the concept of sustainability which is a prime concern in today's age. Further the assessment again is very skill based. Instead of pen paper exams there are presentations, research paper writing, analysis based research and poster presentations which put into action all that you have learned during the lectures.

I chose did University because its top 2nd in world ranking for Oil & Gas Engineering.

    Course Curriculum :

In my case I had a field trip which enhance my knowledge about what we studied in class. moreover the curriculum and academics are highly updated than my UG.

My Msc program of interest was on energy sector (oil & Gas) so, my choice of selection of the University was mainly focused on location and the quality standards of the education and the institution.

    Course Curriculum :

As my course was industry related, the curriculum was well designed and much updated to the practical world of industrial practice. The assignments and projects gave an near exposure to the industry practice.

Well most of the people have a shallow perspective towards masters in UK, because most of masters in UK are for 1 year which is quite contradictive to 2 year's programmes offered in USA, Canada and Australia. While the study hours would be around 3 hours a day in Universities for 2 year degree's, We have to study for atleast 6 hours in a day at UK universities. I'm highly competitive and love to be engaged with books. I felt it would be better option personally for me to for UK. Also University of Aberdeen established in 1495 makes it high in teaching standards and the facilities offered by the university are just beyond any explanation. Getting a part time job is easy as well.

    Course Curriculum :

The course is structured as per the latest industry requirements. More emphasis has been made on Machine learning, Data cleaning and also the hands on project with industry partners for a span of 3 months is a very good opportunity because it provides you with all the technical and managerial skills.
