Visa Process Requirements

Students who get accepted into Aston University must apply for the Tier 4 Visa to study in the UK. The standard Visa Application Fee is £348.

  • Official Qualification- degrees and transcripts

For international students, it is important to note that the admission requirements vary from country to country. Given below are the basic admission requirements for some of the common south-Aisan countries:-

  • India

Students are required to obtain 75-85% average as minimum aggregate in their 10th and 12th examination.

  • China

Students with two or three year University or College Diploma with minimum marks 80% can be considered for undergraduate study - Year 1 entry.

Applicants should be scoring a min of 80% average in relevant academic subjects.

Students who have studied 1-2 years (full-time) at a recognized university may be eligible for first year entry, dependent on subjects, institution and grades.

  • Pakistan

In general, applicants should have an average grade of 60-65% or higher.

Applicants with a two year Bachelor (Pass) of Arts/Commerce or Bachelor (Pass) in Science can be considered for year one entry.

Aston University Postgraduate Admissions

To secure admission in PG courses, International students coming from different countries must fulfill the country-specific requirements as per the university's guidelines. The postgraduate applications are not applied through UCAS but via a separate university portal.

  • India

Candidates should at least have a first-class degree from an Indian university in the relevant subject. To get admission in MBA Program, students should also have a minimum of three years of managerial work experience.

  • China

Students should have a bachelor's degree from a Chinese university

  • Aston Business School and School of Engineering and Applied Science courses – in the range of 70-75% average as a minimum.
  • School of Life and Health Sciences and the School of Languages and Social Sciences - in the range of 75-85% average as a minimum.

To get admission in MBA Program, students should have at least an undergraduate degree from a recognised Chinese university with at least 70-75% average along with a minimum of three years of managerial work experience.

  • Pakistan

Applicants with a four or five year Bachelors (Honours) degree from a Pakistani University with a first class or GPA of 3.2+ will be considered.

For MBA Program, a minimum of three years of managerial work experience is also required.
