When applying to the University of Kent, it’s important to note that there is no fixed application deadline for applications from home/EU students, though it is strongly recommended that applicants apply as soon as possible; no later than three months before the intended start date. For international students, the deadline for PG applications is 31 July 2019, while UG applicants can apply by January 15.

It requires that non-native English speakers submit evidence of English language proficiency. Students who have attended high school in which English is the medium of instruction may have this requirement waived. Following are the minimum scores:

|CHINA||Students from China wishing to pursue a foundation programme at Kent will need to obtain between 50-55% overall in their Standard XII examination, depending on the board they have studied with.|
|MALDIVES||Students from the Maldives wishing to pursue a foundation programme at Kent will need to obtain an average final grade of at least 7/10. Higher average grades may be required depending on the entry requirements of the degree programme to be taken after successful completion of the foundation course.|
|NEPAL||One year of a Nepal Bachelor’s degree with an average grade of 75-80% or a GPA of 3.0-3.3/4.0, depending on the university you have studied at and the degree programme applicant is applying for.|

Original secondary school record from 9 to 11 standard. All the transcripts should contain the applicant’s qualification. All the other documents should be submitted for verification.

The admissions office of the University of Kent reviews each and every application critically. All the admissions are offered to the students on the basis of their academic achievements, extraordinary learning as well as the test scores. All students are required to submit their application forms at least 1 week prior to the deadline. Admissions are somewhat competitive and the acceptance rate is 87.5%.
