Having three colleges that are house to fourteen schools, Bangor University is a large institution located on the north coast of Wales. Over 10,000 students make the student body of this university.

Every year Bangor sees students coming from a variety of countries which amount to be 17% of its student body.
This is one of the additional requirements that international students have to meet to apply. Official score reports of either Trinity ISE or IELTS are required as proof of English proficiency for an applicant who do not come from a country with English as its first language.
You may be exempted from the IELTS requirement if you provide other certifications, such as Peterson's, Cambridge English Language Assessment.
Offering as many as 300 undergraduate courses in English as well as in Welsh, Bangor surely gives a lot of options to choose from.

While Bangor University might not be as selective or as difficult to get into, but interested international students should apply weeks ahead of others to lock their seat for on-time evaluation of the application.
