For international students, the selected University of Stirling undergraduate programmes have annual tuition fees ranging from £20,000 (₹25.56 lakh) to £23,700 (₹30.29 lakh). Computing Science is at the higher end at £23,700, while the other listed courses cost £20,000 per year for 2027/28.

  • For 2026/27, PG tuition is £24,300 (INR 31.56 Lakhs).
  • UG tuition is £23,700 (INR 30.29 Lakhs) per year.
  • Estimated monthly living expenses: £991.80 (INR 1.29 Lakhs) to £1,466.96 (INR 1.91 Lakhs).

University halls come first because published rent includes electricity and Wi-Fi; private sharing adds separate bills and deposits. Private Stirling sharing averages £512.50 (INR 66,558) monthly, plus £85 (INR 11,039) utilities and £13.10 (INR 1,701) broadband. The Postgraduate India Scholarship can reduce that average budget to INR 41.63 Lakhs before visa, deposits, and travel.

Exchange rate used: £1 = INR 129.87 in September 2026.

Fee Saving Strategies for Indian Students

For January 2027, the Postgraduate India Scholarship offers the largest confirmed saving, £7,000 (INR 9.09 Lakhs).

  • University halls include electricity and Wi-Fi, so compare the £399.80 (INR 51,922) lower hall rate with private bills.
  • A Student Visa can permit up to 20 work hours weekly during term time, subject to visa conditions.
  • Section 80E of India’s Income-tax Act may deduct qualifying education-loan interest; confirm eligibility with a tax adviser.
  • MSc Big Data costs £12,700 (INR 16.49 Lakhs), saving £11,600 (INR 15.06 Lakhs) against the £24,300 (INR 31.56 Lakhs) band. Choose it only when its curriculum matches the target role.
  • The Graduate Route lasts 18 months for applications from 1 January 2027. Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) graduates retain three years.

Tip for Indian Students: The highest-value confirmed lever is £7,000 (INR 9.09 Lakhs). It is the PG scholarship. Secure the award before its offer-letter deadline and next tuition instalment.

January 2027 is the realistic near-term route for Stirling’s listed postgraduate courses. Most undergraduate applicants should target September 2027 and note the 13 January 2027 UCAS deadline. MSc Business Analytics needs INR 48.75 to 56.15 Lakhs for its first academic year, including one-year visa and IHS costs. The Postgraduate India Scholarship saves INR 9.09 Lakhs, while an INR 40 Lakhs loan implies about INR 54,000 monthly. Align the scholarship offer, deposit deadline, and 51-week housing contract before the next instalment.

  • I stayed in the University accommodation, so I found it on the University website.
  • It was 8000 per annum, hence 666 pounds per month. Facilities included were laundry, wifi, a lounge area with a Television, and sofa, Kitchen with 8 electric stove tops. The rooms came with an attached bathroom, a bed and a study table, with an added bonus, a great view from the room.
  • There was honestly no challenges that I encountered, finding the accommodation was an easy process as everything was available on the University website.
  • The accommodation was in the university itself so it was a 2 minute walk to the main campus.

I chose Stirling because it is an affordable place to study in a nice location In order to get admission to this uni you must pass a degree with at least 80% mark in English but ielts is not necessary Then you must complete a statement of purpose why you want to study in the UK and send scanned copies of certificate proof to uni admission is between September and February I approached education consultancy uniark and they provide good service they help you get a UK visa fast.

Overall, in terms of academics and infrastructure, my time at the university was Fabulous and one that I will cherish forever. Stirling is a town which comes lively only because of the number of students who reside there and go to the University. I definitely grew a lot professionally and personally during my time at the University. If the placement system was a tad bit better I think it would have been cherry on the cake especially for International students.

Fun, new, interesting. Got into some good groups and amazing set of individuals. We had national record holders, olympians and experienced players/coaches in our class, who you could learn from apart from just academics. Teaching was much more interactive and discussion based.
