VVITU Admission 2027 covers B.Tech, BBA (Hons), M.Tech, MCA, MBA and Ph.D programmes at the Nambur campus in Guntur. VVITU is a private university, so B.Tech seats are filled in two ways. The AP government fills 35% of B.Tech seats through AP EAPCET counselling, at a fee the state fixes. VVITU fills the other B.Tech seats itself, based on Class 12 marks, VVITAT, JEE Main or a state test rank. BBA (Hons) and MBA seats are given after an English test and an interview on campus. M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D admissions are also done on the university portal. The 2027 notices are not out yet, so the dates below follow the 2026 cycle.
VVITU B.Tech Admission 2027
B.Tech at the School of Engineering and Sciences has eight courses with 120 seats each, or 960 seats in all. Five courses are computer and electronics based. They are CSE, CSE (AI and ML), CSE (AI and DS), CSE (IoT and Cyber Security with Blockchain) and ECE. The other three are EEE, Mechanical and Civil. The university quota fee for 2026 was INR 2 Lakhs a year for the first five and INR 1.2 Lakhs for the rest.
VVITU B.Tech Eligibility 2027
For a university quota seat, you need 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in Class 12, or 55% if you are SC or ST. For a state quota seat, you need an AP EAPCET rank. The AP rule asks for 45% in PCM for OC and 40% for BC, SC and ST. You must also meet the AP local status rules for a state quota seat. Local students get 85% of those seats.

BBA (Hons) with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence is a four year course at the APPA School of Business, with 120 seats. You can finish it as BBA (Hons) or BBA (Hons with Research). VVITU selects BBA (Hons) students out of 100 marks. The English Proficiency Test checks reading, essay writing and verbal reasoning for 40 marks. VVITU M.Tech Admission 2027
M.Tech has seven courses with 60 seats each. Three are computer courses: CSE, CSE (AI and ML) and CSE (AI and DS). The other four are VLSI and Embedded Systems Design, Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, Machine Design and Structural Engineering. Can I try for both a state quota and a university quota B.Tech seat?▾
Yes. You can write AP EAPCET for the state seats and also apply on vvitu.com for the university seats. If a state seat comes later, ask the admissions office in writing what happens to money you already paid. Keep every receipt.
Is VVITAT hard if I prepared for AP EAPCET?▾
It tests the same Class 12 Maths, Physics and Chemistry, plus a section on English and reasoning. Each of the four sections has 25 questions. Practise a few English and reasoning papers, because EAPCET does not test them.
