Placement Experience:

The success of placements can vary significantly depending on the college, the program of study, and the current job market conditions. Some colleges offer robust campus placement programs where employers come to campus to recruit students for internships and full-time positions. These placements can be highly beneficial for students as they provide direct access to job opportunities and facilitate networking with potential employers. However, not all colleges offer campus placement programs, and even those that do may not guarantee job placement for all students. In such cases, students often need to take proactive steps to enhance their employability and secure job opportunities after completing their studies.

Placement Experience:

From 4-1 semester, students become eligible for attending campus placements. Few companies visited this year with low packages as well. Also few people from ECE,CSE,IT etc.got selected into Amazon AWS for the package of 26 LPA. From last year, the percentage of students getting placed is a bit less for which one of the reason is recession.

Campus placements are satisfactory but we can not expect anything from. Campus itself. Infosys and google , amazon are the most common companies that will visit the college for Campus placements in this way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The placements that before batches got in this course this makes me to choose this course. In the term of academic year time table they prepare a particular course like languages so that students can easily learn. I think certain class rooms or labs are better to learn. 3 hours is maximum time for writing the exam.

Andhra University Visakhapatnam: 1 Answered Question

What is your review of Andhra University?

Sakshi Gupta
Ishaan Vasisth,M.Tech Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (2019)

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.

Pros:

  • It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
  • The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
  • Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
  • The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
  • They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
  • The entire campus is wifi enabled.

Cons:

  • The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
  • The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
  • Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
  • Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
  • Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.

Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
