NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After 3rd year students are eligible for college placement. Many multi national company visited here such as Microsoft apple Google Facebook Amazon. Highest pakage of college is 44lpa and average pakage is 15lpa.

I chose this course because from my childhood i wanted to be a civil enginner and I was very clear about what I have to do. There is a good student ratio in NIT Silchar , not sure but there would be a 2:7 ratio in my class which i consider to ba good ratio compared to other enineering colleges of India. Here you would get a highly qualified faculty. Studied from IITs, IISc and other top notch institutes of India. Exams are likely to be evry two moths, you have mid sem exams, minor tests, practical exams and endsem exams. These exam are tough to score as NIT Silchar has one of thr toughest academic curriculam.

Almost all the students are placed in campus and the students can also apply off campus placement.Microsoft, vedanta, tata L and T. In my branch medium package of civil branch is 9 LPA almost 80 percent of students from all branches gets placed .

Students are eligible for internship from 5th sem onwards. Approximately 90 companies visited the campus and highest package is 60 lakhs and average being close to 7 lakhs.65% students got placement this year.

Studebts from 3rd can get internship and from 4rd year they can get placement too, the placement scenario of the college is great as compared to north eastern NITs, The avg package ECE students get is 18L and if you are talented enough sky is the limit

From 7th semister students are allowd to sit for placement. Companies include Google, Microsoft, etc. This year's highest pakage was 80lpa will average is 30lpa. 90%of the students applying for placement get placed irrespective of the package offers. I might apply for campus placement or move for further studies.

from 7th sem companies start coming in our campus for placements. many companies visit out college as its a NIT like google , amazon , aws , microsoft, paytm, accenture , cognizant, adobe, de shaw, morgan ,byjus , hcl , infosis , oyo, sony, deloite,arcesium , bookmyshow and many more. Around 165 companies visit out college for the same. the hisghest on campus package was offered 80 lakhs per annum to the a computer science student and 14.5 lakhs per annum was our average package offered. overall around 90% students are placed every year. i am also planning to.sit for IT placements and then i will.prepare for IES

One of the key factor of this college is placement that is good. You can easily get placed if you studied well in samester exam and skill development . Average package is about 9 lpa for our branch, and 20 lpa for cse.

From 7th semester onwards students are eligible for oncampus placements. Companies come during the final year and students can sit for the companies and get hired. Overall almost all the students get placed.

The placement is great in NIT SILCHAR .Companies are made available for placements at the end of 6th semester . Companies such as Goldman sacs , Wipro , microsoft , Amazon etc are there for placements. Last year 2022 the highest package was 83 lac given to a CSE student and the average pakage offered is between 11- 19 lac. The percentage of students getting placed is above 75%.
