MATS University Admission Dates 2026

MATS University 2026-27 admissions were anchored by CUET UG for undergraduate programmes and merit-based direct admission routes across all streams. The 2026-27 cycle has now concluded. The next admission cycle for 2027-28 is expected to open in early 2027.

MATS University Courses and Fees

MATS University offers 40+ programmes across engineering, management, law, pharmacy, science, arts, design, education, and allied disciplines. Total fees for General category students range from INR 10,000 (PG Diploma in Yoga) to INR 4,50,000 (BA+LLB, 5 years). Hostel charges range from INR 60,000 to INR 1,20,000 per year depending on the room type.

SC/ST category students pay INR 2,56,000 for B.Tech (versus INR 3,20,000 for General). MATS also offers the Aeronautical Engineering branch, which is relatively rare among private universities in Chhattisgarh. Design programmes include B.Sc Fashion Design and B.Sc Interior Design alongside M.Des.

MATS University Admission Process

MATS University follows a flexible multi-route admission model. Most programmes accept CUET UG or PG scores alongside merit-based direct admission based on 10+2 or graduation marks. Law programmes accept CLAT. Engineering programmes also accept JEE Main rank.

B.Tech Admission

B.Tech admission accepts JEE Main rank, CUET UG score, or direct merit admission based on 10+2 marks. Minimum eligibility is 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at 45% aggregate (General category). MATS offers five B.Tech branches: CSE, Civil, Mechanical, Mining Engineering, and Aeronautical Engineering.

Management and Law Admission

BBA admits on 10+2 merit or CUET UG score from any stream at 45% marks. MBA requires a bachelor’s degree at 50% marks and accepts CUET PG or direct merit. BA+LLB (5-year integrated) requires 10+2 at 45% and accepts CLAT or CUET. The 3-year LLB requires graduation at 45%. LLM requires an LLB degree at 50%.

Pharmacy, Science, and Other Programmes

B.Pharma and D.Pharm admit on 10+2 PCM/PCB merit at 45%. BCA requires 10+2 with Mathematics at 45%. B.Sc programmes (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, Animation, Fashion Design) generally require 10+2 at 45% in the relevant stream. B.Ed requires graduation at 50%. All programmes allow direct merit admission without a mandatory competitive entrance exam.

MATS University Placements

MATS University reports a 92% overall placement rate with more than 500 companies participating in annual campus recruitment. The university’s placement cell is active across engineering, management, law, pharmacy, and design streams.

The official MATS University website does not disclose programme-wise average or highest CTC figures. Campus recruitment spans IT services, pharmaceutical companies, banking and financial services, retail chains, and law firms based in Chhattisgarh and nationally.

Engineering and management graduates account for the majority of campus placements.
