Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi is a mono-super specialty hospital for liver and biliary diseases. It has been given the status of Deemed-to-be-University by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The foundation stone of ILBS was laid in 2003 by then Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Shiela Dixit. The mission of the Institute is to become a dedicated international centre of excellence for the diagnosis, management and advanced training and research in the field of liver and biliary diseases.
