Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU Baroda) is one of the best universities in Gujarat. It was founded in the year 1881 as Baroda College and renamed as Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in the year 1949. It is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). MSU is the only state University with a residential, unitary character having English as sole medium of instruction. The university offers UG, PG and Doctorate courses in various streams. MSU Baroda Courses are provided through different departments of the university.
MSU Baroda has 1200 well-qualified faculty members and 1500 administrative staff to facilitate the learning of more than 35000 students. MSU is situated on 275 acres of land with state of the art infrastructure. MSU Baroda comprises 14 Faculties, 19 Departments and 3 constituent colleges namely- Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, M. K. Amin Arts and Science College and College of Commerce, Padra and Polytechnic.

MSU Baroda offers the variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in 14 faculties including Science, Commerce, Arts, Fine Arts, Management Studies, Law, Performing Arts, Journalism & Communication, Medicine, Pharmacy, Family & Community Science, Education & Physiology, Science Work and Technology & Engineering.
The list of Courses offered by MSU Baroda includes BCA, B.Ed, BBA, B.Com, BPA, BSW, B.A, B.Sc, B.E, B.Pharm etc at undergraduate level. At PG level it provides M.A, MBA, MCA, M.Ed, MPA, M.Plan, M.Com, MVA, M.Pharm, LLM, MSW etc. MSU Baroda Fee Structure is different for every program.
MSU Baroda offers UG, PG and doctorate programs along with PG Diploma and Certification courses. There are about 20 courses offered at both UG and PG level and 29 specializations for the PhD program. Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Admission is done on the basis of state or national level entrance exams score. For some course, the university conducts its own entrance test while for some courses, the selection is done on the basis of candidates marks obtained in last qualifying exams.
MSU Baroda offers 23 undergraduate programs in 38 specializations. The basic educational qualification for MSU Admission to bachelor’s degree course is 10+2 with the minimum required percentage. Students seeking admission to B.E program need to appear for JEE Main/ GUJCET. Admission to B.Arch program is done through valid NATA score.
MSU Baroda offers 20 postgraduate programs along with PG Diploma program. There are about 82 specializations offered in various PG courses combined together. Also, there are six additional specializations offered under the PG Diploma course. The basic eligibility criterion for MSU Admission to master degree courses is Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field. Students who wish to apply for admission to M.E program have to qualify GATE exam.
MSU Baroda provides reservation to reserved category candidates. Applicants who wish to apply under reserved category need to qualify the complete eligibility prescribed by the university. Students also have to submit their caste certificate at the time of admission process.
