Amrita offers B.Tech at the undergraduate level, M.Tech, MBA-MS collaborative program, M.Sc. and MA courses at postgraduate level. It also provides the Ph.D. program in four specializations. All the courses are offered under the Schools of Business, Engineering, and Philosophy, Art & Culture.

The registration is done in online as well as the offline mode for all programs except Ph.D. program. For Ph.D. admission, applicants need to apply through offline mode only. Applicants also have to pay an application fee at the time of registration process.
Amrita offers B.Tech program (Bachelor of Technology) in 5 different disciplines. To be eligible for admission to B.Tech, students should have passed class 12 in science stream with at least 60% marks. Eligible candidates need to appear for entrance exam namely- AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination) which is conducted by Amrita. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their performance in AEEE are called for the counseling process.
The basic eligibility for PG courses is the graduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks. Admission to PG courses is done on the basis of state or national level entrance exams.
The application process for the Ph.D. program is done in offline mode. Those who wish to apply are required to download the application form from official website of Amrita Bangalore.
The basic eligibility for the Ph.D. course is master’s degree in relevant discipline. The selection process consists of entrance exam which is conducted by the Amrita itself followed by interview round.
