Remarks -

The college provides more of a strict atmosphere very much similar to that experienced in our school life. A method of teaching, where the students are inculcated with the importance of cultural values, is something I found very much welcoming to join the university. The university focuses on value-based education in which high priority is given to not only just education for earning money but also to an education which will teach you how to face different problems- both material and spiritual. In short Amrita models not just engineers but also good citizens for the nation.

Collage doesn't just mean that something you do after your 12th to get a degree and have a place in the society. Its where you recognize who you really are, what are you capable of. At least for me it was like that because of the facilities from my collage like the Hut Labs, you can create your IEEE membership which will be useful to you in many ways. And about the CIR, our collage is the first one to conduct SSR[Student Social Responsibility] and made it mandatory for all 3rd year student as part of academics. It is a project where we go to a town or city as a team, figure out some problems in it and solve it,its not just for marks, but during the process you face the society and see what the r...

Students can get admission into the college through Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination. The exam itself eliminates a huge number of students, hence the need for an interview is redundant. Being a huge fan of programming and implementing the corresponding circuits made me take the decision of taking the course of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

"A separate universe where science and spirituality no more fight against each other."

After my 12th board i was not quite sure on what to choose but my mind was inclined towards electronics so i researched on the courses related to electronics and the collages as well.I had to write the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam [AEEE], in order to join the collage. After the result is published if you are under certain rank, they'll send you the call letter for the counselling process where you can select your desired branch and campus so that's how i landed here.Excluding the counselling there was no separate interview, so frankly speaking its a golden opportunity for talented students who have stage fear or who are hesitant in speaking up in front of an interviewer.

"A period of time which helped me realize that the World wouldn't wait for me and I would have to make use of all the available Chances to exceed in my Pursuits. The College was a culmination of different Cultures, with people from different States coming to a single University. My interactions with them were quite beneficial."

I really didn't have much of a plan after my school life. I knew I wanted to do B.Tech but that was all. My father recommended this college and so I checked it out. It had a reputation of offering a safe and healthy environment for the students. The strict 'No-Ragging' rule was a huge plus in my book. The most enticing fact was the 100 percent placement. I didn't know the hardships of placements at the time but that last one really decided it for me and my parents' were satisfied with it as well. The Entrance Exam was done online at college in Trivandrum. While the question were much easier than those of the JEE examination, the questionnaire really gave me a run for my money. I managed to w...
