If private sector is concerned, many fish feed manufacturing company like Godrej, CP, Avanti use to conduct yearly basis interview and choose the talents from CIFE. The higher posts of the company like the marketing supervisor, R and D are offered with lucrative deal to the students. The good reputation of CIFE assures a good placement scope for the students. If central job is concerned, there is always a chance to become an Agriculture Research Scientist (ARS) through the examination conducted by the Agriculture Research Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB), ICAR, government. Of West Bengal. The ICAR NET qualified students in respective discipline have the scope to become Assistant Professor in any Fisheries University. From my senior batch 6 students got selected as ARS, 3 students got selected in the marketing wing of Godrej feed company. Even in my batch though maximum of them were selected in their respective State government job, 2 students again got selected in Godrej feed company. The excellent placement scope is now attracting the young generation toward the fisheries sector, keeping CIFE at the centre of all of these.
