IIM Shillong Course Admission 2027: Dates, Eligibility, Registrations, Selection Criteria
IIM Shillong Admission 2027 has a separate process for each programme. The two year MBA is based on the CAT 2026 score, followed by a personal interview held by IIM Shillong. The five year IPM is based on the IPMAT score, followed by an online interview. The one year MBA for executives needs five years of work and a CAT or GMAT score, then a group discussion and an interview. The MBA for working executives is taught online and needs three years of work. The Ph.D has its own form, a written test and an interview. CAT 2026 is on 29 Nov 2026. Every seat is offered from a merit list, and the central reservation rules apply.
IIM Shillong MBA Admission 2027
The two year MBA is the main full time programme at IIM Shillong. Classes are held at the Umsawli campus in Shillong, and every student lives in the campus hostel. IIM Shillong reported 395 seats in its two year programmes for 2024-25. Admission is based on CAT 2026 and a personal interview. The last published fee, for the 2024-26 batch, adds up to INR 26.18 Lakhs.
IIM Shillong MBA Eligibility 2027
You need a bachelor's degree with 50% marks, or 45% if you are an SC, ST or DA student. You also need a CAT 2026 percentile above the minimum in all three sections. General and EWS students need 75 percentile in each section. SC students need 60, and ST and DA students need 50. You can apply in your final year of graduation.

IIM Shillong MBA Admission Process 2027
First, fill the CAT 2026 form and choose IIM Shillong. IIM Shillong then ranks you on a score made of 65% CAT percentile and 35% marks and work experience. It shortlists students from each academic background, category and gender. If you are shortlisted, you must fill the interview form on the admission portal on time. Only then do you get the interview call letter.

IIM Shillong MBA Selection Process 2027
After the interview, IIM Shillong makes the final merit list. The CAT score and the interview count 40% each. Your marks and work experience together count 10%. A gender diversity score counts the last 10%. You must also clear a minimum interview score, which is 30% for General and EWS students.

IIM Shillong MBA Fees at Admission 2027
The 2024-26 batch paid INR 90,000 when accepting the offer. This amount includes the acceptance fee, a caution deposit and a mess advance. After that, you pay the term 1 fee of INR 3.63 Lakhs. Each of the next five terms costs INR 4.33 Lakhs. The international immersion is optional and costs extra.

The IPM is a five year programme for students who have just finished Class 12. You study for a BBA in the first three years, an honours year in year four and an MBA in year five. You can also leave early with a certificate, a diploma or a BBA. Admission is based on the IPMAT score, your school marks and an online interview.

First, take IPMAT, the aptitude test that IIM Shillong accepts for this programme. Then fill the IIM Shillong IPM form in May and pay the form fee. IIM Shillong checks that you have a positive score and the minimum marks in each IPMAT section. It shortlists students for each category, and the interview is held online.

IIM Shillong IPM Fees at Admission 2027
For the 2026-31 batch, years one to three cost INR 3.81 Lakhs a year. This is INR 3.05 Lakhs of tuition and INR 76,000 for the hostel and other costs. At admission, you also pay an alumni fee of INR 10,000 and a refundable deposit of INR 20,000. For years four and five, you pay the MBA fee of that time.

The PGPEx is a one year, full time MBA for experienced professionals. Students live on the Umsawli campus for the whole year. The programme includes an international immersion at a business school abroad. The 2027-28 form is open now in round 1, and a second round fills the seats left after it.

The programme fee is INR 22.71 Lakhs for Indian and international students. It includes tuition, the library, insurance and mess charges in India. To accept the offer, you pay INR 1 Lakh, which is adjusted in your first fee part. The international immersion costs extra, between INR 3 Lakhs and INR 4 Lakhs.

The 2026-28 batch fee is INR 12.7 Lakhs, paid in four parts. You pay INR 90,000 to accept the offer. The rest of the first part, INR 2.85 Lakhs, is paid as your offer letter says. A late payment costs INR 5,000 for each week of delay.

The doctoral programme is a four year, full time research degree on campus. You pick one of seven areas, such as Marketing or Finance and Control. Tuition and hostel fees are waived. You get a monthly fellowship of INR 35,000 in year one and INR 40,000 from year two.

Having no work experience is not the main barrier to get into B schools. Your 10th and UG marks are very good and 12th marks are decent, however, I want to make it clear that IIM Shillong is not among the baby IIMs or the new generation iims.
It is far better than new iims and making place among BLACKI. SPJIMR accepts CAT score for its admission and you will be requiring above 94 percentile for open category. NMIMS accept SNAP exam score. And for IIM shillong 95+ percentile is required.
