NEHU M.Sc Mathematics: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The law department does not provide formal placement opportunities after course completion. Graduates often choose to practice in courts, pursue higher education, or prepare for competitive exams. Internships are facilitated through the college, partnering with courts or NGOs, and students may receive variable stipends from different firms. Financial aid options include the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for eligible candidates under 35 years for men and 45 years for women, requiring a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks and NET qualification.

Additional scholarships are offered to meritorious NEHU postgraduate students with a minimum of 55% in their Honours degree, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST students. Students in full-time employment do not qualify for these scholarships. The Students’ Aid Fund provides financial assistance for tuition, exams, textbooks, stationery, hostel fees, clothing, emergency medical needs, and interest-free loans, determined by a special committee for deserving students.
