- I like our teacher they're kind and very good at teaching
- Fests are , masquerade night,dj night hled 1 time in 3to 4 month,and other festivals like varsity weeks,for playing games such like ,cricket,football, volleyball,and other games,liker kabbaddi , campus experience are very good
- The teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable and very enthusiastic.
Dislikes
- Hostel seats are limited therefore you cannot guarantee to get a seat in the first year.
- The admission process was quite easy but the payment was problem.
- Our website is not that strong so i have to pay multiple time for it to work

- The environment is extremely beautiful (naturally)
- Climate is the best i can think of; always cool, but never too cold)
- Some teachers are very nice and genuinely interested to help you grow

- Internships are extremely low; the few ones who come are not good
- Placement rate is very bad, and average package is extremely bad too
- Lot of corruption; missuse of funds everywhere, affecting the places where actual development is needed

Course Curriculum Overview:
This course might be one of the best courses in yhr University, if not the best. Placement rate, comparative to other courses, is the highest as of what I know.
The curriculum dhould be improved. Lot of unnecessary subjects, that too with a lot of credits. The important subjects are just taught at the basic level, which should be way higher.
The exam frequency and timings are good. But they are way too easy.

- Very Cold, very good environment, shillong is famous for its environment
- This Nehu is under shillong municipality so yes this under the city. Only 5km away from the main center police bazar.
- All market supermarket, cafes, resturant, all the things is under the campus.
Dislikes
- Campus is too big,,,,u may have to walk walk and walk...u may opt cycle or bike or scooter
- In winter shillong gets too cold around 2* C soo.....in this cold it is very hard to study....u need a heater... something water turns into ice
Placement Experience:
Placement is good about 85% got placement from on campus. On campus placement range is from 6 to 8 Lpa ..
Off campus placement goes upto 18Lp...
Medtronic, Ge healthcare, philips, Biocon, many govt companies etc come

- The most important thing i liked is the environment
- Next is free of cost hostel and minimal gym fees of ruppee of 300
- Smart classroom is so fascinating and smartlab with incredible infrastructure
Dislikes
- Entire course is so hectic ,long duty hours in clinic and then classes
- So demanding in language ,English is mandatory sometimes khasi also.
- No time to rest,holidays are very less,sleeping hours not fulfilled
Course Curriculum Overview:
The main reason i choose this course is the job security after course completion,and there is clinical duty which prepares us for real world application.,i think theory and practical classes should on alternate days to reduce workload,exam difficulty level is from easy to moderate

- Campus Size. This is a huge campus with a campus area of 1225 acres.
- Labs are good. NEHU has almost all the labs required for a smooth academics.
Dislikes
- Placements should have been better. although is improving.
- You have to walk a lot if your class is far from your hostel.
Placement Experience:
campus placements are okay, it is improving over time... averagely people get placed at 7-8 lpa and some people get placed at 12lpa. Many students go for off campus placements and there they perform very well. students have secured 22- 28lpa off campus.

- Food inside the campus are expensive, Restaurant and other hotels
- Sometimes Transportation problem inside the campus ,
- Placements need to be improved , The placements are too average
Placement Experience:
Placements of our college is average , The average package is almost 400000 per annum. I will prefer to take placements from outside campus by own. U may also go for further studies after the degree. My plans are too take placement from outside.

- girls to boy ratio is around 60:40, Campus is fully socially interactive lot of free space are available inside the campus to roam around, Greenery is most attractive part of campus. Shillong campus of NEHU is known for its natural beauty.
- Interaction with faculty and seniors are very friendly, Behaviors of non teaching and teaching staffs are really good. Students union is there to deal with any kind of problem academically or non academically.
- Sports facility are well facilated inside campus. Almost every sports and playground is available such as football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, running track, archery ....etc. SAI ( sports authority of india ) is available inside the campus.
Dislikes
- Lab equipments, infrastructure are too old and mostly non working.
- too much distraction, shillong itself is garden of natural beauty so there is so many things to distract you from studies
- faculties are not that well expirenced, you cant expect topics to be clear in class. Mostly professors are old and no new recruitment.
Placement Experience:
from third year or 5th semester you are eligible to apply for internship and placements, most of startups visit every year to offer a minimum salary of 4LPA. highest package offered last year was 24 LPA. i have no plans for now, i am just here to explore life

- Very good atmosphere and also much cleaner than other States. The college is situated in rural area and its quite beautiful with all the lakes surrounding the college campus
- Good social life. As people from different states and countries come it's quite a fun experience with each of us having different backgrounds,language and culture
- Very active in programmes and very supportive attitude from staffs and teachers with these things
Dislikes
- Requires basic needs like salon, tailor and internet connectivity. Online class is not possible in here
- Increase in fees for mess with no basic sense of taste. Way too much for food they provide
- Still need better teacher for each department and classes outside BA
Course Curriculum Overview:
It was not my actual mind to opt my major which is history, since it was hard to find open colleges late I had to adjust to it.
It might be better since I had a habit of remembering things that are upto no use in the present or maybe better for securing jobs as it is quite in needy in these aspects.
It's still not very clear in my part but it partially taught us the basics
It gives us 3 hours of time per paper and it's not very different or very hard because it has been always the same pattern along with the portions

I choose English as I'm interested to learn about it ..it is really helpful for me that I took this course as it also helps me improve my speaking skills and most importantly my writing skills which I'll need in my future

- The things i liked about my college is that i met a lot of different people from different backgrounds. The students in the college are very talented. About the the college itself, i really love our campus. It is well structured.
- The hygiene is properly maintained and there are ample amount of sitting space where students can sit and have talks and fun with there classmates and friends. There are three different canteens as well. Where you get good food with affordable price.
- I also love the faculty of the college. The HOD of my department is really humble and very talented. He is a great teacher. In my department there is a proper music studio where we can jam and have a good amount of music instruments in good condition
Dislikes
- One of the thing i dislike is the timings of the classes. For eg i have one class at 9’o clock then another class at 1.30. The time in between is really tiring because we don’t have anything specific to do.
- There are not many extra events in the college as such rather than the college week which happens once a year. Students in my department really lack the opportunity for showcasing there talent.
Placement Experience:
The students in there end sems which means the 6th are eligible for the campus placements. I am not sure about the companies that visited exactly but i know that those were some companies with good status level. My plans after getting the degree is that i pursure music as my career as an artist.

- The college was full diverse with people coming from different states.
- The faculty is quite cleaned and well organized.
- College week was the best part of the college.
Dislikes
- The professors were quite rude. If asked something you will be questioned as dumb.
- The teaching style was not good. They would teach in their local language most of the time.
- The time table was quite hectic as the classes started from 8:00 AM and ended in 4:30 PM and having only 30 mins break the whole day.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is quite vast. But it only consisted of three subjects for my batch before NEP. We only have Western music, Hindustani classical music and regional music. But courses with NEP has a lot. And not just focuses on music but extras too.
