Ravenshaw University Cuttack Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course because I was inclined towards management and corporate studies and want to make a career in this field. Here the faculties are less as compared to a number of students. The faculty here are well qualified and the teaching methods are not good as they do not provide proper guidance and notes and are only theoretical knowledge. Term exams are 2 annually and the passing mark is 30% and was easy to score.

College does provide the placement as well as the job opportunities for the students after the completion of their courses in the college. Students do get a decent amount of package provided by the various companies that came in the placement. We have a different placement cell in the college. Students can ask about various placement related issues they are facing.

Have large playground and habe indoor and outdoor courts for sports like basketball and badminton.17. Have seminars and workshops to provide students with real life experience.

Usually, students in the last year of their course are eligible for campus placements. Very renowned companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte etc have come for the placements. The highest package is 4 lakhs and the average package is 2.5 lakhs for a bachelor degree. I got hired through campus placement and currently, I'm working with the organisation.

Before the final semester, students were eligible for campus placement considering there is no backlog till then. Dont exactly remember the number of companies that visited Ravenshaw but I attended 4 to 5 campuses. Financial Analyst at Wipro with 2.5 LPA, Cognizant with 1.9 LPA, Infosys, BPO. The campus hiring was good but the package they offer for graduates is a bit low as per market. I joined Wipro as but offered a better package than others and having an MBA sponsored by them.

Students get eligible from the 5th sem. All big MNCs come from placements like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte etc. All take bulk placements, generally, more than 50-60 students get selected for each company. Around 80-90% of students get placed every year and in good companies.

From 4 semester students are eligible for campus. Delhoitte-25, tata 30-35, Concentrix 50-60, Wipro 30-35, Infosys 20-25. Highest package given by delhoitte for whosever cracked. 65-70% students get placed. I got into a company Concentrix I got through campus.

The maximum number of students are getting their dream job from here. So many companies are coming as it is a famous university. After their semester examination, they go for campus placements. I want to do Post Graduation Degree after completion of my undergraduate course.

Placement is good here. A good percentage of students from our course got placed. The starting salary package offered in our course ranges between 1.5-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant visit our college for placements. Almost all students from our course got placed except those who want to opt for higher studies. I will do M.sc and further research

From the 4th semester, students are eligible to sit for the campus. Our university has collaborated with huge giants like TCS, Capgemini, Deloitte, Wipro and others which provides students with a great package. 80% of the students in my department are getting placed with a great salary provided. I have thought of pursuing my further studies in MBA IT or MCA.
