PEC Chandigarh is one of the pioneer engineering institutes in Punjab and provides quality education in electrical courses. The institute ranks 68th as per NIRF 2020 Ranking and also one of the oldest and premier institutes. The university is famous for its placement packages and is great for pursuing Electrical engineering.
Thapar Institute of Information Technology (TIET) has been ranked 2nd among 13 Indian Private Institutions by ‘THE’ Asia. They offer both BTech and MTech courses of 4 years and 2 years respectively. The learning process at Thapar for CSE is more inclined towards practical knowledge.

Ans. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has been ranked 29th amongst top engineering colleges in India by NIRF. While IIT Dharwad hasn't been ranked yet by NIRF.
