The entrance examination that you need to take to get into MNIT, Jaipur for a B.Tech course is the JEE-Mains (Formerly AIEEE). The cutoffs are insanely high for the top branches like Computers and Mechanical, even for the reserved categories and you need to score high to expect a good branch. I scored 229/360 but since at my time the 12th scores were also factored in, I ended up getting Chemical over here.

I cleared UP Entrance Examination in 1998 and got ranked 1236. Got Metallurgy in MREC (Now MNIT), Jaipur

Since I am student from abroad. I went through SAT 2 exam under DASA scheme out of 2400 my score was 1970 and I choose mechanical engineer due to interest in the field.

Overall very nice college with all the state of art facilities. One should definitely look to get admission in this college if gets good rank in enterance exam.

Overall the college is good with good experienced teaching faculty in the college. The college provides opportunity to the students to learn and grow. The college has not undergone transformation since a long time and currently the focus is only on the construction in the college and everywhere construction work is going on in the college. Currently the priority is this infrastructural development and thus less events occour in the college. Not a great college but a good one to study in.

I was selected to this institution after giving JEE mains examination. But I choose this in just fame of NIT and later realised that only campus is large but not the minds.

If you want to take admission in that college so u have valid JEE score or GATE score i scored 41 in GATE.

College management caters to all the need of students in an efficient way.

During my course I did not find any major issue with management but placement cell could be little more active. At times I felt most of things are being taken care by branch-coordinator and some times there is no checks about their engagement with companies visiting for placement.
