From 7th semester students get eligible for placement , companies do visit the campus but not with many big package .In this period of recession some of companies have visited the campus with package offered 3lpa , 4.5, 6, 6.5lpa only not more than that. College support start-ups for which they provide seperate space to students to work on their idea . Currently there are 4 start-up in College campus. On an average the percentage of college placement is 50 % only .

Students are eligible for placement after after 6th semester if there is no campus placement then there are chances for branches to might appear into the GATE examination which help them to appear in the government job as well also college provide Mtech facility so if the student is not get campus placement student may do Mtech from the college and after that he might be able to get good placement

I was interested in computer engineering so I decided to take admission in BTech course ,exam was conducted in the form of sessional as st1 and ST2 and one more was done as pre university test and final exam conducted by AKTU as University exam.

Great placement and internship opportunities are provided to the students from third year itself. The average package is about 800000rs per annum and almost each and every student gets placed by the end of 4th year. In adverse situations, if in case any student doesn't get in campus placement, proper guidance and preparation for off campus placement is provided. People in the placement cell are very understanding and supportive. The highest package was once 50lakhs per annum where Microsoft appointed three of our brightest students. Hence, over-all placements and internship opportunities are decent.

I am interested in computer engineering so I choose B-tech. Here exams according to curriculum happened. First exam in the form of sessional after this one more sessional exam and one pre university test conducted, at the end University conducte final semester exam.

The average placement of a CSE branch is 4-5 LPA. Some of lower core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical have poor placement record. Some talented and skilled students have secured good placement offers like - 39LPA, 30LPA ,25 LPA etc but those students are few in number (10-15) out of the total batch. Almost all the students of CSE core branch have been placed as per previous record and students of allied branches will sit in placements for first time this year as allied branches were introduced lately in 2020 batch of freshers if I am not wrong. In 3rd year of B.tech students can apply for internships and in 4th year the companies come for placement. However I have noticed slight decrease in no. Of companies visiting the campus maybe due to recession.

While choosing the course it is very important to think in which course you do well and aspects of curriculum will help you.The curriculum will help in real world application or further doing best in your course .The areas where we improve the curriculum is giving practical knowledge to students not only theory knowledge .
