SHUATS Faculty

The college offers an 8-semester, four-year degree course with 7 to 8 subjects per semester, each comprising 25-30 lectures. The faculty-student ratio is approximately 1:30, with around 40 faculty members in the department, most holding Ph.D. qualifications. The faculty is a mix of young and dynamic professionals and experienced educators, with expertise from institutions in India and abroad. Despite some management issues, the teaching quality is generally good, with supportive faculty providing theoretical and practical knowledge.

However, challenges include inconsistent class attendance by faculty and tough paper checking. The curriculum aligns with industry standards and the New Education Policy, although practical sessions could be enhanced. Faculty members are approachable, aiding in student guidance and career counseling. Despite some faculty being less professional, overall, the faculty is knowledgeable, and the institution is particularly strong in agriculture-related courses.
