Remarks:
Being the oldest college in India, it must concentrate on innovations in the field of education which is not considered currently. It is having a huge reputation but in my opinion, it is not standing up to it's name.

The special thing I found in my college is that my college is financially very strong and supports extracurricular activities that grow the mentality of students on a very very large scale. That's very important.

Admission:
I gave the test of Jee Mains. After qualifying in Mains, I was eligible for JEE ADVANCE. Students get admitted to various IIT colleges through the rank list obtained in JEE Adv. Further, I obtained this seat in seat allotment which happened post-JEE Adv. I was fortunate enough to mark a seat in this college and this branch as per my JEE Adv Rank.

Remarks:
The overall life at IIT Roorkee is amazing and so are the opportunities as compared to other colleges. The students are brilliant and competitive and that brings the best out of students. The job opportunities are also good and so are the chances of getting admission in to universities of the world.
The faculty and course work is where it needs to improve. The professors are not as enthusiastic and the subjects are not interesting. Overall it is a good place to spend four years.

So based on my stay in IIT ROORKEE I can say that it is one of the best colleges in India. Except for some of the hostel facilities, all the facilities are really good. The most liked facility among students is lan system which provides unlimited and very high-speed internet connection to students.

Remarks:
The campus is lush green and very beautiful and the cleanliness is worth praising. But the teaching methodology must be changed from book-oriented to practical and research-oriented in order to make the most out of the creative minds of the students.

The college is one of the most prestigious institutions in Asia and the first engineering college in British India. It has a vast alumni network spanning across the globe. The college is located on the foothills of Himalaya and has a lot of nearby places to be visited.

IITR is a very vibrant campus with everyone busy doing something in academics or extra-curricular or sports. Any kinds of physical or mental abuse don't happen here and everyone respects each other. I haven't witnessed any kind of fighting or quarrel between students. The culture here will drive you to materialistic success in life. There is a lot of competition here and always some people will be ahead of you in some sense. So, many times, you need to ignore what others are doing and focus on your development. Being a professional institute, People here are a bit proffesional and true friendship very rarely exists here. 99% of the people are good at their heart but the friendship which i have with my school friends, I didn't find here.

Rishabh LuthraStudied at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee
The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
