- They take a keen interest in teaching students and love to solve students' doubts.
- The placement and training cell at nit uk is doing great works in past years with helping students get better opportunites in their 3rd year by getting interships from various companies to kickstart their careers out in the real world.
- The thing that i like is how the students celebrate every festival

- Mess food is really bad for the fee we pay, with little variety.
- Hostels are good if you have a good company, but the mess food is disaster, you will get trouble to habitate yourself for the food.
- One thing which is not to be overlooked is the hostel mess food for which we pay in advance which is not taken care of even after the frequent complaints by the students.

- I had a great interaction with the college faculty. They have graduated from prestigious colleges and have a vast teaching experience. Most faculty members are friendly and go out of the way to solve students' doubts.
- I loved the location of the college. It is situated in the midst of Srinagar, surrounded by hills on all sides with Alaknanda river flowing beside the campus, offering picturesque views to the students.
- The college, being an NIT offers great exposure to the students, at par with any other IIT or NIT.
Dislikes
- The college has poor infrastructure. Most of the necessary equipment/infrastructure is running on improvisation. The college doesn't have ample space to accommodate more students.
- The old hostels (which are offered to girls and first year boys) are poorly maintained and are in shambles. The washrooms are unhygienic and unclean. Another problem is the mess food, it is boring and offers little variety, though the taste is fine.
- The college doesn't have an ERP system, neither for faculty nor students. We have to rely on the notice boards or personally visiting the relevant department when it comes to important services which could have been easily implemented online.
Placement Experience:
Students are offered placements after the fourth year. Students can fo internship in 7th or 8th semester. The average package offered in academic year 2023-24 was 6LPA, while the highest package offered was 14LPA (CSE). On an average, about 75% students are able to secure a placement every year. I personally plan on appearing for the GATE exam after getting the degree.

- The faculties and other staff members are really helpful and provide great assistance to each student whenever required and also the seniors help us on any case be it external or internal.
- Quality of teaching is good, also the diversity created due to the students from all over India feels awesome.
- The hostels in the valley between the hills and river Alaknanda which flows nearby to which we go for a visit once a week during sunset gives an eyesoothing view and this is the place where we feel relaxed in our minds after facing all distress.
Dislikes
- The college have a downgraded profile in Google and other reviews based on its campus issues however it is so far true that the campus is temporary and does have a fine look as compared to other NITs.
- One thing which is not to be overlooked is the hostel mess food for which we pay in advance which is not taken care of even after the frequent complaints by the students.
- There is not proper sports facilities and due to which any inter college events are hardly held here.
Placement Experience:
Placement offers solely in-campus placements are highly rewarding and they recruit employees based on Resume, an aptitude test and an interview. Mostly TCS like companies appear for placement out of which 25% students are placed on-campus.

- The campus, inshort the campus is too small that you don't have to give extra efforts for interactions.
- Seniors are the most overwhelming thing in this college, you will get the interactive and supportive seniors.
- The faculty, every faculty is PhD from IITs and they teach you how every faculty should.
Dislikes
- Again the campus, facilities are very poor, we don't have proper ground and it is obvious. We don't have any permanent campus
- Mess food, it's very poor and hygiene is awful
Placement Experience:
You just have to maintain your 7.5 cgpa all along, so you can sit on every company interview, placements are good enough, I have just discussed the percentage placements rate. And my plans are just to be settled in placements, if I couldn't get the job then I'll go for the government job

- Less no of students so better interaction among all students
- Better opportunity because the no of students are less than other nit
- Very nice location according to cleanliness and nature
Dislikes
- To reach the college u can only use bus aur taxis
- No movie theatre or cinema halls near college
- Less no of students so u will feel less competition
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are quite good many big companies came to college .Civil branch students also get campus placement around 8-12 lakh per annum placement opportunities are more as less no of students so placement are quite well but some companies don't come due transportation

- The college has some of the great professors with knowledge of their field and experimce in teaching.
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is in development phase making it difficult for the students to cope up.
- The lab facilities are not upto the level of a NIT
Placement Experience:
The placement in college is normal. The acerage package is somewhat between 8 to 20 lac. The hisgest package goes to 21 lac. The CSE department has the highest number of placement with highest packages. Other departments has relatively low package.

- The college is situated in a very good location , surrounded by hills, mountains, so you are very close to nature. There are many beautiful places to visit near the college.
- Seniors are friendly and helpful in nature and guides you in your academic.
- Although it has a small campus but it has a advantage that classes and volleyball ground and basketball court are near the hostel.
Dislikes
- Mess facilities are not that good enough.
- It has a small campus so there are not many things to explore in campus.
- Sports facilities are not that good enough like other nits.
Placement Experience:
Placement Cell of NIT Uttarakhand is good and its been doing great work form last few years, helping students in getting placement opportunities from 3rd year. Placement rate is also quite good and the average package of CSE is 15lakhs per annum.

- If you are in nit than you have tag of nit so value of tag makes you different from other
- Placement of national institute of technology Uttarakhand is quite good
Dislikes
- National institute of technology has temporary campus so it is little bit disappointing
- Sports facilities are decent but it could be good but due to lack of space there are limited souce
- College life is ok ok bcz of small campus there are not too much facilities to engaged in college life
Placement Experience:
After 7 th semester student are eligible for campus placement if your cgpa above 7.5 than you are eligible to sit in campus placement after than there will be many rounds and at last there will interview round than you get campus placement in national institute of technology Uttarakhand

Students became eligible for placements from 4th year onwards , placements are actually a little average in the college due to several factors like the absence of permanent campus , reachablity ,crowd

- Shops far from college for your Every requirement you need to go 1 km away
- The people who have problems with bus will suffer a lot.
Placement Experience:
Bring true enough due to location of college not very much companies visit our college so placement rate is not soooo good but it is improving .but you will a good opportunity to improve your knowledge and skills which will not be compromised..you could reach your desired placement according to your capability

- Unavailability of proper sports ground for students.
- Palcement ratio is not very good and not getting proper opportunities.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester, students become eligible for internships and from 7th semester they become eligible for placement opportunities. Various companies like Lnt,google visit college for placements. Highest package offered previous year was 32 lakh and average package is 10 lakh. About 80 percent of the student get placed out of total eligible students for placement. My plan is also to get a good placement in MNCs.
