Placements are pretty good if you are studying in CSE department or ECE department of otherwise it's not that well most of the students will get places in the on-campus placements, and they'll also provide internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and quite challenging which makes it better as the crop of students and competitiveness is also high. The course of CSE is on par with some of the top institutions in the country and the faculty is highly established and provides high research output which provides students an opportunity to expand and aim beyond their prescribed course.

Placement Experience:

The students in 3rd year are eligible for internships and also internships with job offers. The students of the 4th year will have regular placements. The highest package so far has been 1.5 crores per annum it was an international package for a student of CSE branch for ECE branch it is 40, lakh per annum. The average package is 9lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

From the placement perspective, PES is too good for CS. Ec students get good companies too. Students become eligible for placements after the third year. Top companies like Amazon, google, apple India, and Samsung does visit our colleges. 1000+ offers are made every year. About 90 percent get placed in the CS branch and about 80-85 percent get placed in the ECE branch.

Placement Experience:

students from the 7th Sem onwards become eligible for placements. Microsoft Atlassian Adobe Goldman Sachs Infosys Wipro IBM Accenture Bosch Deloitte and Samsung. The highest package was 49LPA [ SDE-1 ]. The average package was 9LPA [ SDE-1 ]. 85-90% of students get hired. To get the Highest package job either on campus or off-campus.

The teachers in the college trained us to face the question paper easily so we can just score the marks easily and exams were conducted thrice a year excluding preparatory so it is been easy to attend classes.

In 7th semester students get ready to sit for placements. Many companies visit here like Microsoft, Infosys, Adobe, opera, Amazon etc. Highest package was around 1.3 crore in England. And average is around 8 lakh to 10 lakh. I want to get placed in a tier A company. More than 50% students get placed.

Placement Experience:

From 6th-semester students start getting placed, internships you can get from 3rd sem itself. Almost all types of companies come from tier 1 to tier 3, eg. Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Adobe, etc to all tier 2 and tier 3 companies, highest package varies but is around 50 lakh, avg package for CSE is 10lpa+. For CSE almost all get placed, I have thought of joining a good company

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.

Students can go through the following reasons to know more about the CSE course at PES University:

  • Approvals & Accreditations: The university is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. It is also accredited by NAAC and holds the approval of AICTE, making it a trustable institution.
  • Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee. The university courses are more expensive in comparison to other universities, so if you cannot afford high fees don't apply for this university. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for CSE is very simple at PES University Bangalore. Candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
  • Selection: The selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination. The university conducts PESSAT to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech CSE. The university also accepts KCET and JEE Mains scores.
  • Minor Specialization: The students can also choose B.Tech CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a minor specialization giving more aligned specialization to applicants. 
  • Seat Intake: There are a total of 720 seats available in the CSE course among which 288 are KCET quota seats, 288 seats are available for PESSAT candidates and 36 seats are reserved for JEE Mains students. The university has also reserved 108 seats for management/ NRI/ foreign/ sponsored category students. 43 seats are there for Lateral entry students and the remaining 29 seats are for CET quota students applying for lateral entry in CSE. 
  • Ranking: The university has been ranked 100-150 for Engineering (B.Tech) by NIRF 2023.
