The Scholarship offers Financial Support to the Economically Weaker Sections from General, SC, ST & PwD Candidates.

Objective:

The main objective of the Scholarship is to provide Financial Assistance to Meritorious Students from poor families to meet their day-to-day Expenses while pursuing their Higher Studies.

Scholarship Awarded:

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the Results of Senior Secondary Examination. Total number of scholarships has been divided amongst the State Education Boards based on the State’s population in the age group of 18-25 Years.

Eligibility:

Students who have scored 80+ Percentile in the relevant stream in Class 12th or Equivalent or having a Family Income of less than 6 Lakhs per annum. Those who are pursuing regular courses & not availing any other Scholarship Scheme are eligible.

Rate of Scholarship:

Students will get INR 1,000 per month at Graduation Level for the 1st three years of College & University Courses. INR 2,000 per month at Post-Graduation Level.

Students pursuing Professional Courses would get INR 2,000 per month in the 4th & 5th Year. Scholarship is paid for 10 Months in an Academic Year
