Adesh University is a private university situated in Bathinda, Punjab. The university was established in the year 2012 by Adesh Foundation and approval by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Medical Council of India (MCI). Earlier it was known as Adesh Group of Institutions. The Adesh Foundation was established in 1995 and since then it was running various institutes under its flagship. The university offers UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Research courses in various disciplines.

Adesh University Courses

Adesh University offers the variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, PG diploma and research courses in multiple specializations. The list of UG courses include courses like MBBS/ BPT/ BDS/ B. Pharm/ B.LIB and B.Sc. while PG courses include M.Sc./ MD/ MS/ M.LIB/ M. Pharm and MBA. Adesh University offers five specializations each in PG Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses and seven specializations in Diploma course.

To be eligible for admission to any of the undergraduate program, applicants should have passed class 12 in relevant stream with minimum 50% marks from a reputed board. For postgraduate courses, students should have a graduate degree in relevant disciplines with at least 50% marks from a recognized university or institute.

The selection criteria is different for various courses like applicants seeking admission to MBBS or MDS program need to qualify NEET exam while for MD/ MS, admission is done through NEET PG.  

Selection for admission to remaining UG/ PG/ Diploma/ PG Diploma/ Advanced Diploma courses is done on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and admission is done through counselling conducted by the University.

For admission to Ph.D. courses, the university conducts Entrance Exam and Personal Interview. Candidates who have qualified UGC NET/CSIR-NET/JRF examination or GATE/SLET/Teacher Fellowship, and M.Phil. Examination are exempted from entrance test conducted by the university.
