At the University of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, Bangalore, agricultural land is not compulsory for general admission. Admission to B.Sc courses is through KCET. However, for the agriculturist quota, preference is given to farming families, and a practical test is required, but owning land is not strictly mandatory.
