Ans. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and either have completed at least 5 years of formal performing arts training under a reputed institution or Guru, or hold an undergraduate degree in Performing Arts. Admission is through an entrance test and interview conducted by REVA’s School of Performing Arts.

Ans. The total fee for the Master of Performing Arts (MPA) at REVA University is INR 1,30,000 for the two-year programme, payable at INR 65,000 per year. Hostel charges are payable separately. Confirm the current fee at reva.edu.in.

The MPA curriculum at REVA University covers advanced practical technique in the chosen art form, classical theory and aesthetics, choreography and production, history of Indian performing arts, pedagogical methods, research methodology, and a full-semester dissertation or performance project. Ans. MPA graduates from REVA University can pursue careers as professional performing artists, classical dance or music teachers, choreographers, cultural programme directors, and academic lecturers. The MPA also serves as the qualifying degree for PhD admission in Performing Arts and for fellowship and empanelment schemes of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), and state academies.

Ans. No. REVAHAT (REVA Humanities Aptitude Test) is not applicable to the MPA programme. Admission to the Master of Performing Arts at REVA University is through an entrance test and personal interview conducted specifically by the School of Performing Arts and Indic Studies.
