Candidates with a valid GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or JRF score are exempt from the SIU PET.

A research proposal must be submitted with the application for doctoral committee evaluation at SIT Hyderabad.

A July session intake is also available annually with a separate application and PET window.

Eligibility Criteria

M.Tech, M.E., or equivalent postgraduate engineering degree from a recognised university with minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)

Must qualify the SIU Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET), or hold a valid GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or JRF score for exemption from PET

Candidates with an M.Phil. in Engineering or Technology from a recognised institution are also eligible to apply directly
