- Amazing faculty to student ratio experienced and well qualified faculty they have amazing knowledge so they can make learning more fun and can teach in details.
- It is enjoyable life here in this campus.the hostel is very comfortable for anything like festivals , occasions and ceremonies.
- Placement scenario here is good one can easily secure a seat in good company
Dislikes
- The hostel mess food okay but sometimes its so bad !!
- In this fee all your dress, uniform hostel mess books are included unfortunately there is no scholarship given by the campus, you can apply it for other means
- I mostly dislike the food of the mess i don't its not healthy i think.

The college is best in every possible way. The fooding is good, hostel is good and studio are good. The college structure is lovely. The college even has a certified medical officer.

It is the best in Asia and one of the best in the world for marine engineering. It is the first maritime institution which was set up in 1949 nad inaugurated in 1953 by then PM Pdt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. It has the largest network of successful alumni in the marine field and the college has impeccable placement record. It

This college is definitely good for Marine Engineering but considering the recent market conditions in Merchant navy, the placements and the job opportunities are facing a downfall. And the authority is not taking any effective step for it. The faculty should be improved.

Overall it was a great experience studying there. though there are some recent administrative changes in last few years which has resulted in lot of changes in rules and regulations of college.

No negetive things abt my college. U have got hard disciplines which according to me is just a training to do good onboard. Givr Respectt and gain respect is a key to be in this college. Seniors teach us good moral values and sometimes they beat us up for our mistakes but everything has to be taken in a sporting way. If u don t learn from your senior s what vl u teach to ur juniors as simple as that.

It's a great college if you're really interested in the field. But the treatment here is a bit harsh and the environment is totally different from any other Engineering college because that is what makes you tuff and fit for working on ships.
