General Conditions

  • 5% admitted students from socially & economically backward category (as defined by the West Bengal Govt.) shall get a tuition fee waiver (100% free-ship)
  • Under the above various scholarships, a student can be eligible for financial support from only one scheme, as the case may be. The benefits of multiple scholarships cannot be awarded to a single student.
  • In case of any discrepancy/ concealment of facts, the College/ University or sponsoring Trust will cancel the scholarship and recover the amount of scholarship granted.
  • Scholars are required to score 6.5 CGPA or above in every semester examination without any backlog.
  • Any kind of indiscipline activities will make the scholarship liable to be canceled.
  • Scholars are required to clear their other dues of the college or University on due dates.
  • Family Income Certificate to be obtained from any "A1 Gazetted Officer" wherever applicable.
  • 12th Class Marks for Scholarship to be calculated on the basis of "Best of 5 Subjects" for All Boards.
  • For Master Degree Courses - Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Graduation marks.
  • For Lateral Entry Courses - Scholarship shall be calculated on overall Diploma marks.
  • For GRAMOTTHAN & SPECIAL HILL STUDENTS' Scholarship - submission of the Permanent Resident Proof of students is mandatory.
  • Students need to apply for a scholarship after Final Admission to the Registrar Office within stipulated notified time.
  • The decision of the management will be final and cannot be challenged.

Special Note:

  • Students of B.Tech in Electrical Engineering will be entitled to additional 25% Industry Sponsorship from Vikram Solar Ltd.
  • Students of B.Tech in Robotics Engineering will be entitled to additional 25% Industry Sponsorship from AmbujaNeotia Incubation Division.
