Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell, where you can get the details on the meeting and the companies that would come to place students. You can be in placement cells, you will get all the details. If you do well, it's definite that yoh will be placed. I am not aware of the offers but Goldman Sachs had visited recently. Highest package was 15LPA and Lowest was 5LPA. Around 60% get placed here. My plan is to do masters in my interested subject.

Placement Experience:

The placement has been good in St.Josephs College of Arts and Science. Many multinational companies and many other private companies come here for interviews. About60% of the students got the internship from the college. The top recruiter for our course is Wipro, and around 5%-10% of the students get placed from here. Lab technicians are the top roles offered in our course. The placements for our course are not very high because of the subjects. However, after further studies, things will improve. Professorship and research are the ideal options after B.Sc degree. The reputation for every course has a standard, and in the same way, even our course has a quality. Placement process starts from 3rd year of College ,Since I am not yet into placement, I don't know much about placements.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for placements on the requirement that the student doesn't have any backlog. A lot of companies visit such as DE Shaw, Deloitte, Cognizant etc. And the goal is to place maximum students. In my year around 1500 students have applied for placements as of now and 20 are already placed. The highest package offered this year till now was by DE Shaw for the job role Financial Research Associate, CTC- 21.5 LACS. Deloitte offered the CTC of 5.5 LACS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I decided to opt for Bsc in zoology due to my fascination for the subject. SJC has some of the largest faculty departments in Bangalore. The student-to-teacher ratio is about 40:1 and each student gets adequate attention from teachers. All the professors have completed their PhD or at least a master's program. They use various methods such as lectures, group activities, presentations, to convey subject matters. Each semester had two examinations, i.e mid sems and end sems. The difficulty of the exams was about average.

The placements are quite good. To my information, the highest package being 11LPA offered once by Google from campus interview. Lowest being 2 LPA Most of the students get placed who have a good overall score. Companies like TCS, WIPRO, and other IT companies visit our college. After the 5th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Around 85% of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree would be to get a job and after a few years pursue masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very passionate about photography and cinematography. Hence, a filmmaking course is what I wanted to do after my 12th grade. In each semester we had six subjects and had six different professors for each subject for a class of around 40 students. And during my time at St. Joseph's College, I had the opportunity to be trained and molded by exceptionally knowledgeable and highly qualified professors who made sure that the students are able to capture the in-depth nuances of filmmaking and appreciate it. I treasured all the classes to the fullest because the professors made them genuinely enjoyable. The term exams always took place on time with three theory and three practical examinations. These examinations are quite simple if the students prepare well for the exams and study according to the syllabus given by the professors.
