If you are genuinely interested in coding or CSE, the best options for you would be IIIT Hyderabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, and Delhi. You can consider the top NITs as excellent options too. These 4 IIITs are the only IIITs that are better than NITs in terms of research, curriculum, and holistic development.

IIIT Lucknow, although a new IIIT, has established its name among the top IIITs. Its high ranking is because of its excellent coding culture and thus many product companies visit it. These 4 IIITs have their own campus too and charge high fees because of the top-notch faculty and research resources they offer.

All the remaining IIITs are in the development stage and should not be given consideration. It’s better to choose the top 7 or 8 NITs than these developing IIITs. 

NIT Raipur CSE is at the same level as that of top NITs and IITs in terms of job opportunities and academics. Its improving placement scenario over the past few years is a testament to the fact that it’s going to be one of the top NITs very soon. Here is a brief comparison of these institutes

Also, its curriculum contains the latest topics, and is in line with the syllabus of top IIITs.

Thus, IIIT Naya Raipur is a good choice for B.Tech CSE. But you can also choose IT/CSE at NIT Raipur. 

As a student of IIIT Naya Raipur, I will tell you about the facilities provided at my college-

1. IIIT Naya Raipur is newly established which means it has a modern infrastructure. The labs and lecture halls are well-equipped with ACs. Electronics labs contain all the necessary hardware and software equipment. Data science labs are good as well. The library is two-floored and contains a wide range of books. The hostel rooms are well-made. Canteen and mess facilities are provided in the hostels.
2. The entire campus, including the hostels, canteen area and ground, all are covered by a strong wifi network.
3. The curriculum is well-designed and in close alignment with the syllabus of top IITs and IIITs.
4. You’ll be studying your branch from the first year itself.
5. The institution has special cells developed to make its students prepare for their PG studies. 
6. There is a provision for special scholarships for the students, based on their performance in semester exams.
7. The students from this institution have won several coding, robotics and cultural competitions at various IITs and NITs.

I don’t know much about NIT Raipur, so I can’t compare the two. However, I would suggest you reach out to some seniors from NIT Raipur as well. This will help you establish a clear comparison between the two colleges. 

As far as IIIT Naya Raipur is concerned, it is a good institution with modern infrastructure and all the facilities.

• IIIT-NR lacks well-established clubs, committees, and Training and Placement offices, which can be a disadvantage for students.
• On the other hand, NIT Raipur is an old and established college with strong alumni support, numerous events, and a well-equipped Placement cell. Being a part of cultural, technical, or managerial events can help students enhance their skills and network with industry experts.
• While NIT Raipur may appear old and dusty, it has a proven track record of successful placements and a sure future for its students.
• It's always better to go for a sure future than to take a risk with a not-so-sure future.

Therefore, if you have the choice between IIIT-NR and NIT Raipur, it's recommended to choose NIT Raipur for a better chance at a successful career.

Nowadays people prefer NITs mainly because of their NIT tag. But in reality, IITs are institutes of national importance and should not be underestimated. Besides they focus solely on the field of Information Technology. Two other reasons why IIIT Jabalpur is a better option than NIT Jalandhar are:
