Bodoland University, Kokrajhar was established in the year 2009 by Bodoland University Act 2009, passed in the Assam Legislative Assembly. It is a state university approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The university provides master and doctoral programs in many streams. The university offers postgraduate and doctoral courses in various subjects. At present, Bodoland University runs MA (Master of Arts), MBA (Master of Business Administration), M.Sc. (Master of Science), MCA (Master of Computer Application), M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) and Ph.D. in the number of disciplines. The duration of MA, M.Sc., MBA and M.Phil is 2 years while MCA and Ph.D. are 3 years program.

Bodoland University offers MBA, M.Sc., MA, MCA and M.Phil at postgraduate level. Applicants who wish to apply for any program are required to fulfill the complete eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having a graduate degree in relevant stream or equivalent qualification with not less than 50% marks from a recognized university or institute are only eligible to apply.
Admission Criteria: The selection of candidate is done on the basis of entrance exam which is conducted by the university. The university conducts different exams for different programs.
To be eligible for MBA program, students should have bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. The selection for MBA program is made through Entrance Score followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection is done through overall performance of candidate. Applicants having minimum 75 percentile score of any of the All India Common Entrance Tests (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA) are exempted from appearing the entrance test conducted by Bodoland University.
Bodoland University provides scholarship to reserved category candidates (SC/ ST/ OBC). The university offers different scholarships to different candidates on the basis of their merit and documents. Applicants who are eligible to apply for scholarship are required to apply in offline mode through university concerned department till the prescribed date.
