The annual fee is Rs. 1,60,000 per year. Additionally, there is an application fee of Rs. 1,100 (non-refundable) and an examination fee of Rs. 1,000 per exam. Hostel accommodation is optional and costs between Rs. 92,000 and Rs. 1,40,000 per year depending on room type, with mess charges billed separately.

Ans. Yes, CSMU offers M.Tech Mechanical Engineering as a 2-year full-time postgraduate programme with an intake of 18 seats. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduates with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply. Admission to M.Tech is based on GATE score (Mechanical Engineering - ME paper) or CSMUCET. GATE-qualified candidates are exempted from CSMUCET and may also be eligible for the Teaching Assistantship of Rs. 15,000 per month.
Ques. What is the refund policy if I withdraw from B.Tech Mechanical Engineering after paying fees?
Ans. CSMU follows UGC guidelines for fee refunds. If you withdraw 15 or more days before the last date of admission, you receive a full refund minus a processing charge of up to Rs. 1,000. Withdrawing less than 15 days before the last date results in a 90% refund. Within 15 days after the last date, you get an 80% refund; between 15-30 days after, a 50% refund; and beyond 30 days after the last date of admission or after commencement of classes, no refund is provided. The application fee of Rs. 1,100 is non-refundable under all circumstances.
