RRBMU B.Ed : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. The total fee for B.Ed at Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University (RRBMU) Alwar is INR 44,000 for the complete 2-year programme, payable at INR 22,000 per academic year across four semesters. This covers tuition for the full programme. No separate hostel fee is included in the published fee schedule. The PTET 2026 application fee, paid separately at the time of entrance registration, is not included in this amount.

Ans. B.Ed admission at RRBMU is through Rajasthan PTET 2026, conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota. The PTET 2026 exam was held on June 14, 2026, and results were declared on June 25, 2026. Counselling is expected to begin in July 2026. Candidates register on the PTET portal, submit preferences for RRBMU-affiliated B.Ed colleges, and receive seat allotment based on their PTET score and merit rank.

Ans. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50%. SC, ST, OBC, and EWS category candidates require a minimum of 45% aggregate in graduation. In addition, candidates must qualify in Rajasthan PTET 2026 for the 2-year B.Ed category. Post-graduate degree holders are also eligible to apply for B.Ed at RRBMU without any additional requirement beyond the PTET score.

Ans. B.Ed graduates from RRBMU are eligible to appear in Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) and Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for teaching posts at secondary and senior secondary levels. Government school recruitment in Rajasthan by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) requires a B.Ed qualification. Many graduates also pursue M.Ed for academic and administrative roles in education, or appear for TGT/PGT exams in central government schools such as KV and NVS.

Ans. A qualifying PTET score makes a candidate eligible for counselling but does not guarantee admission. Seat allotment depends on the candidate’s PTET merit rank, preferred college choices, category, and seat availability in RRBMU-affiliated B.Ed colleges. Candidates with a higher PTET score have a better chance of being allotted to their preferred college. If the allotted college does not suit them, they may opt for floating or upgradation in subsequent counselling rounds if available.

Ans. B.Ed students at RRBMU can apply for the Rajasthan State Post-Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/EWS domicile students, the NSP Central Sector Scholarship of INR 12,000 per year for top 20 percentile Class XII scorers whose family income is below INR 8 lakh per annum, and the PM Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) of INR 25,000 per year for wards of ex-servicemen and ex-coast guards. Central scholarship applications are submitted through scholarships.gov.in before the annual deadline.
