Course Curriculum Overview:
Am a bba student. I chose it and I honestly don't regret it, I thought it would be easy for me and it is compared to other courses, it is a worth taking course. It may not completely prepare us for the market but for sure will give a good knowledge about the market atmosphere.

Placement Experience:
As Mount Carmel is a reputed college and has a good popularity , it had good placements as well there are many top 4 companies coming for the placements every year such as JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, KPMG etc

- The way academics and extracurricular activities are equally given importance.
- Character formation, Social Concern and Academic Excellence as a Josephite is the most important thing.
- Experienced and well qualified staff is what makes the college to stand on top.
Dislikes
- A big dislike would be about the small campus.
Placement Experience:
Placements in our college start from 5th sem which is in the 3rd year. Students with backlogs are not eligible for placements. Companies varying from EY, Morgan Stanley, Lowe's, Deloitte, Zomato, Deutsche Bank, etc. will come for campus recruitment. Highest package would be around 10-15 LPA based on the requirements of companies and job roles varying from analysts, service providers, auditing, accounting, operations, etc. Approximately 75% students get placed and others may study further, where I'm one who is planning to study MBA.

Placement Experience:
Placements are quite good in our college but selection process is very difficult , a lot of good companies like the big 4 , amazon , zomato come to our college for placement and they select students . first a written test is taken and then comes the interview part.

- Highly competitive at the same time the first two years were absolute what josephs stands for which is freedom of expression, cultural activities and at the same time exciting topics that were taught during the classes which exposed me
- To understanding various fields of art and about social values and how law abides us all significantly to move forwards together and at the same time our professors are amazing they are friendly at the same time have been students and let us cherish
- Our student and college life at it’s maximum. The first two years were one of the best experiences of my life as it was way over the top in making me experiences various ways to tackle issues in life
Dislikes
- Only my last year of sjcc was a little bit of struggle as the father changed and the environment of sjcc shifted from its real origin which makes Joseph what it is, which is cultural focus and not only academic excellence which in return came
- With our new father which made it tough to adapt and currently juniors also are going through the same thing as they joined sjcc thinking of the morals and values it carries and the way it lets students function which is not the case anymore
- I wouldnt comment on the current situation as i am not in that place no kore but certainly heard about it from the juniors and lamenting the same
Placement Experience:
The placements are amazing but dont let you sit for them if you have backlogs but some companies go beyond it as well but the basic rules stay the same and expect the students to match it as well. I had many friends who got placed in good companies through my college placements

- It can be hectic sometimes but yes it's all in balance once you have settled
Placement Experience:
The career prospects is mentioned with the details of the course on the website. The Hindu and Tata consultancy services being the most prominent recruiters along with Myntra and many more. Last year the student placement percentage was 98% on campus. After third year you're eligible for campus placements.

Placement Experience:
Internships can be availed in the first semester itself. Students can avail job placement offers from the fifth semester. The college has an annual placement fair as well to help students find the perfect fit for them.

- The hostel is good for students with all the facilities

- Nothing to dislike here in this college .
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placements after they have completed there internships and are done with there final exams of the last semester the company will come and interview the amount of students getting placed are getting higher each year

- Mount Carmel College is one of the best colleges for girls as actresses like Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma have been alumni of our college.
- The career courses of MCC are renowned as soon much variety in B.Com is something which I have not seen elsewhere.
Dislikes
- The pay packages are low compared to other colleges and that's the only thing that I disliked about MCC.
Placement Experience:
Almost in final year students can apply for placements or go for MRCs as placements were lesser. Only 30% students got placed in 2022 but it was because we were getting over hard hit Covid then. The numbers might have surge but still placements percentage wasn't that great.

- The campus is beautiful and the food in the cafeteria is also something to dote on. It has some of the most amazing teachers in bangalore especially for my degree that is bachelor of commerce.
- Going back to the campus it is situated right in the prime of the city and that allows for us to have access to great peers from other colleges and excellent industry experiences during our industry visits.
- Placements into these offices is also very accessible due to the location and the brand name and legacy that Mounts carries, because of our excellent alma mater which has been very well placed into several prestigious companies paving way for us.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mounts has a good prestigious name for commerce degrees such as Bachelor of Commerce and bachelor of business administration and it lives upto the name as the faculty and administration specialise in this field and the whole college is built to incorporate these degrees to the maximum.
The curriculum is up to date with industry standards and caters to the placement cells needs as well
