Ans. MD Microbiology is a non-clinical laboratory-based postgraduate degree. Training focuses on the microbiology laboratory covering bacteriology, virology, mycology, parasitology, and antimicrobial resistance surveillance. Routine patient management is not part of the core curriculum.
