Lynn University International Student Admissions

The admission process for international and domestic applicants is alike. Nonetheless, international applicants are required to meet some additional requirements. 

Application Portal: Students may apply online at the university’s official website. There is a separate online form, respectively, for domestic undergraduate and international undergraduate applicants.

Admission Requirements: International applicants must satisfy the following requirements in order to be eligible for Lynn University Admissions:

  • A completed online application
  • Scanned official high school and college transcripts or get original documents to the campus during enrolment
  • Transcripts evaluated by an authorized agency, which are: Official Transcript Translations and Credential Evaluation
  • One letter of recommendation by a teacher, guidance counsellor, or coach
  • Personal statement.
  • Official SAT/ACT score report sent directly to the admissions department.
  • Activity resume listing hobbies, extracurricular activities and/or volunteer work.
  • Verification of financial support

Visa Process for International Students

International applicants can apply for a student visa to study in the USA right after an application letter is issued. Students whose applications have been approved will be issued the I-20 Form.

Aspirants will be required to submit the following documents to obtain an I-20:

  • Copy of Passport’s Biographic page
  • A complete Certificate of Finances form
  • Bank statement which confirms the availability of funds as required by the university
  • Letter from the government (if applicable)
  • Proof of Health Insurance

Once I-20 has been issued, an accepted student will be enrolled in the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). The visa application process includes the following next steps:

  • Paying the SEVIC I-901 fee
  • Completing the DS-160 online visa application
  • Pay the visa processing fee
  • Make an appointment at your local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate
  • Review the site’s list of documents you need to bring to your interview

Students can also apply for a J-1 (work/study-based exchange visitor program) visa or an H-4 (dependent on their family members H1) Visa.

Lynn University offers Undergraduate Admissions in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Digital Arts, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Management and Marketing. Aspirants are required to submit transcripts, which should be in an unopened envelope from the sending institution–– printed within the last 6 months to be considered official.
