The college provides an array of courses for international students and offers admissions to them in the intakes of Fall and Spring. International Student Admissions

Visa Process for International Students

International applicants can apply for a student visa to study in the USA right after an application letter is issued. Students whose applications have been approved will be issued the I-20 Form.

Aspirants will be required to submit the following documents to obtain an I-20:

  1. Copy of Passport’s Biographic page
  2. Sign and submit the acceptance confirmation form.
  3. Submit the Acceptance Confirmation Fee Payment along with a non-refundable USD 100 payment
  4. A complete Certificate of Finances form
  5. Bank statement which confirms the availability of funds as required by the university
  6. Letter from the government (if applicable)
  7. Proof of Health Insurance

Once I-20 has been issued, the accepted student will be enrolled in the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). The visa application process includes the following next steps:

  1. Paying the SEVIC I-901 fee
  2. Completing the DS-160 online visa application
  3. Pay the visa processing fee
  4. Make an appointment at your local U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate
  5. Review the site’s list of documents you need to bring to your interview

Students can also apply for a J-1 (work/study-based exchange visitor program) visa or an H-4 (dependent on their family members H1) Visa.

Monroe College Undergraduate Admissions

The institute offers Undergraduate Admissions in Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Digital Arts, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Management and Marketing.
