Pratt Institute has Office of Admissions that handles all inquiries and admissions decisions. The Office of International Affairs handles all immigration issues including the preparation of I-20s for international students. International students must carry various important documents for different admission procedures.

English Language Requirements -
English Proficiency Tests are mandatory for international students. However, it is recommended that the students submit their SAT scores along with their English Proficiency Test scores for better evaluation purpose.

Graduate Record Exam is required only for Art and Design Education, Art History, the combined Art History and Master of Library Science program, and the Architecture (First Professional) program.

The freshman or first-year acceptance rate was 36 per cent for the fall 2017 undergraduate class. Pratt Institute is highly selective about its admission procedure.
The international students should contact the Office of International Affairs in case they face any issues related to the admission procedure.
The applicant can check the application status by logging in with valid credentials. It usually takes four to six weeks for admission decision to arrive.
Admissions files are not considered complete and will not be sent to the department until all required materials have been received.
