I saw Bowdoin College in a magazine article. The article said the college has a great acceptance rate and is also good for international students. That's how I came to know about college. I had to submit my personal information online through an online form. I had to pay $65 for the form.
The course at my college is awesome. Many activities are included every year to make us feel better. Every year, we get to participate in new activities. Like web seminars, online sessions, workshops, etc. which is a great experience. We are also allowed to have sessions with guest teachers, motivational speakers, etc. Overall, the course is designed in a way to help us grow and to never feel demotivated.
I always wanted to study at an American community college and my own brother had studied here and he raved about it all the time. I too wanted to study in the USA and so I too chose to apply here as my brother had told me that each student is treated in a special way here and that everyone gets a chance to excel here under the caring guidance of excellent teachers. I had applied online with all my transcripts and test scores. My application fee was around $60.
My program was really intensive and the best that I could expect from a US college. We had regular laboratory experiment classes and here we tried out whatever we learned in class. My course included subjects such as - metabolic transformations and metabolic control.
It's a small liberal arts college in beautiful Maine with a very high Academic Ranking and varsity sports programs. A great diversity of students who are more supportive than they are competitive. It was worth it.
A great Liberal arts curriculum with requirements that encourage students to branch out of their comfort zones. Some departments such as Econ, it can be difficult to get into popular classes but for the most part, you can take what you want.
