Bryn Mawr International Student Admissions

For all international applicants, there are specific admission requirements they need to fulfill. The admission process, however, is like that of the native applicants. Also, they need to carefully complete the visa process on time.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • All official academic records/transcripts from the previously attended institution(s).
    • Transcripts that are not in English, must be sent along with the certified English translation.
  • An official copy of school leaving exam results and certificates
  • SAT and ACT score for undergraduate applicants
  • GRE/GMAT score for Graduate applicants
  • English proficiency test scores
  • Letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor
  • A personal statement stating compatibility with the program goals
  • Updated Resume

Departmental requirements: Departments can have their own application requirements in addition to the general admission requirements, like portfolio, interview, or audition.

Visa Process for International Students

Applicants are recommended to complete their visa process on time to avoid any admission-related problem.

  • Applicants must get the I-20 form from the college.
  • Fill up the form and attach the following documents along:
    • Copy of passport
    • Proof of financial support
  • Complete the I-20 and pay the SEVIS I-901 fee.
