The student body at the New York Film Academy is very diverse and consists of students from over 80 countries. More than 50% of the students enrolled at the Academy are international students. The college provides undergraduate, certificate courses and graduate courses in the field of Photography, Film Making, Cinematography, Visual effects, Performing Arts, Graphic Design and Game Design.

There are several additional requirements for the international students along with the general requirements which are the same as the US applicants.
International students need to prove their proficiency in English by submitting their TOEFL or IELTS score. Minimum required scores for admission are given below. However, certain specific departments may have different score requirements.

The New York Film Academy provides undergraduate programs in three major areas which include Bachelors of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Arts. Admission procedure for all three programs is the same -

The New York Film Academy provides masters programs in two major areas which include Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts. Each course has specific admission requirements. However, the basic requirements for admission are the same for all courses.
