International students must demonstrate English language proficiency by providing scores of any one of the following tests given below, to be eligible for admissions at Massachusetts Institute of Technology:

In addition to the TOEFL/IELTS, all the international applicants form non-native English speaking countries also need to take an English Evaluation Test (EET) during a week before their registration day at the institute.
