Hult International Business School Admission 2027
Hult uses a rolling admissions model with six priority rounds for the September intake and a smaller January intake for select master’s programmes. Indian applicants target the earliest available round to maximise scholarship consideration.
| Milestone | Date | Notes for Indian Applicants |

Hult International Business School Admission Requirements for Indian Applicants 2027
Indian applicants apply as international students with a straightforward document set; academic strength and English proficiency are the main gates, with the admissions interview carrying decisive weight.
Master’s and MBA level:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field with minimum 55% aggregate (2nd class equivalent) from a recognised Indian university.
- English proficiency via TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, PTE or the Duolingo English Test; specific score minimums are confirmed at the interview stage (verify at official admissions).
- WES credential verification required for Indian transcripts; begin eight weeks before submission.
- MBA applicants: at least three years of work experience preferred; GMAT and GRE are not mandatory for most master’s programmes (verify per programme).
Undergraduate (BBA) level:
- Class 12 completion in any stream with minimum 55% aggregate from CBSE, ISC or a State Board.
- Same English proficiency options as postgraduate applicants.
Note: Hult does not publish fixed cut-offs for TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or Duolingo. Instead, enrolment advisors evaluate each application holistically and confirm the required English level during the interview stage, which is unusual among US business schools and lets strong applicants offset a lower test score with clear career narrative.
Hult International Business School Acceptance Rate 2027
Hult does not publish an official acceptance rate. Public estimates place the band at around 50-55% (estimated figure), reflecting the school’s rolling-admissions model and interview-led evaluation rather than standardised test cut-offs.
The process filters more on academic minimums, work experience for MBA tracks and interview fit than on test scores. Applicants who meet the minimum bachelor’s grade of 55% and demonstrate English proficiency at interview stand a materially higher chance of admission than the raw rate suggests.
Reality check: A 50-55% band does not mean the process is easy. The interview accounts for a large share of the decision, and Indian applicants who show clarity on career goals plus a real campus preference tend to convert far above the headline rate.

Hult International Business School Tuition Fees for Indian Students 2027
Master’s programmes carry a single flat fee for the full one-year duration. The MBA is priced separately and needs verification through the official fee schedule.
| Level | Annual Tuition (USD) | Annual Tuition (INR lakh) |
|---|---|---|
| BBA (3-year) | Verify at official fee schedule | Verify at official fee schedule |

Hult International Business School Campus, Facilities and Student Life
The Boston flagship sits in Cambridge across from Kendall Square, one of the densest business and biotech clusters in the United States. The San Francisco campus is downtown, and the New York campus operates from a Midtown location.
- Location and transport: Boston campus is walking distance from the MBTA Red Line at Central Square, with 15-minute connection to downtown and Logan Airport reachable within 30 minutes.
- Housing: Hult does not run on-campus dormitories; students rent privately, with about USD 900-1,800 monthly for shared apartments in Allston, Brookline or Somerville.
- Facilities: Career Services runs weekly recruiter events, mock interviews and one-on-one coaching from admission through six months post-graduation.
- Indian student community: An active Indian Students Association organises Diwali, Holi and cricket meets; Indian nationals form one of the largest cohorts by nationality at the Boston campus.
What Indian students say: The career services team pushes recruiter connections hard, and the multi-campus rotation is a real conversation-starter with employers. Class sizes stay small enough that professors know you by name, which is unusual for a US business school of this scale.
Hult International Business School Scholarships 2027
Hult automatically considers every applicant for merit-based scholarships at admission with no separate application. A small number of India-relevant awards are offered each year, and need-based institutional aid is available on request.

| Hult Need-Based Institutional Aid | Need | Award set on demonstrated need | Applicants who submit verified financial documentation | Rolling with application |

Insider note: Award decisions arrive with the admission letter, so applying in the earliest round materially improves scholarship size and likelihood. Indian applicants routinely report awards in the USD 5,000 to USD 20,000 range for master’s programmes, though larger full-fee awards remain rare.

Hult International Business School Rankings 2027
Hult is a specialised business school and does not appear in the general QS World University Rankings 2027, Times Higher Education World Rankings 2026 or US News Best Global Universities 2026, which measure comprehensive research universities. It ranks instead in business-specific tables, with the Financial Times Global MBA position as its headline recognition.
| Ranking Body | 2026 | Trend |
|---|---|---|
| Financial Times Global MBA | #89 | Stable in the mid-band |
| Financial Times US MBA Ranking | #39 | Stable |
| Fortune Best MBA Ranking | #41 | Improving trajectory |
| QS Business Masters (Finance) | #101 | Stable |
| QS Executive MBA International Trade | #24 | Improving |
[Source: Financial Times, Fortune, QS]
Hult is not ranked in QS World University Rankings 2027, THE World University Rankings 2026 or US News Best Global Universities 2026, as those tables measure full research universities rather than specialised business schools.
Key insight: For Indian applicants, the FT Global MBA position of #89 matters most for scholarship recognition by Indian banks and for corporate hiring signals. A specialised business school rank carries the same F-1 visa and OPT eligibility as a full-university rank inside the United States.

Hult International Business School Placements and Career Outcomes 2027

Hult International Business School vs Peer Universities
Hult competes with other one-year international MBA and master’s providers, both US-based and cross-country. The comparison below uses officially disclosed data where available and labels every estimate.
| University | Segment | Approximate Annual PG Fee (USD / INR) | Differentiator |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hult International Business School | One-year global MBA and master’s | ~USD 55,570 / ~INR 53.2 lakh (2025-26 est.) | Multi-campus rotation across Boston, San Francisco, London and Dubai |
| Babson College (Olin Graduate School) | US-focused MBA with entrepreneurship focus | Verify at official schedule | Highly ranked in US for entrepreneurship |
| IE Business School (Spain) | European one-year MBA | Verify at official schedule | Strong European recruiter access |
| Boston University Questrom | US-focused MBA | Verify at official schedule | Local Boston market comparator with research faculty |
| NYU Stern | US flagship MBA in New York | Verify at official schedule | Wall Street recruiter proximity |
Hult stands out for structured multi-city exposure and a total investment ceiling below many one-year international MBAs. Applicants prioritising the highest ranking, brand recognition or salary premium may prefer NYU Stern or a comparably-ranked US or European alternative.
Hult International Business School fits Indian applicants who value multi-campus international exposure, want a one-year master’s or MBA with a fixed total fee near USD 55,570 (INR 53.2 lakh), and are comfortable with an interview-heavy admissions process. The 94% master’s employment rate within six months validates the model for applicants ready to work the career services engine actively.
The F-1 pathway with Optional Practical Training and the STEM extension available on the Business Analytics degree give Indian graduates a wide US work window after graduation. The F-1 student visa process is standard, and Indian bank loans routinely fund the flat programme fee thanks to Hult’s Financial Times Global MBA recognition.
Applicants who want elite research prestige, a large PhD-track faculty or a broad liberal-arts campus experience will find Hult less suited to those goals. For that profile, IE Business School in Spain or NYU Stern in New York remain stronger fits, while Babson College serves as a strong US alternative for those focused specifically on entrepreneurship.
Hult International Business School FAQs
Ques. Are English-taught bachelor’s programmes available at Hult for Indian applicants?
Ans. Yes, the Bachelor of Business Administration is taught fully in English at the Boston, San Francisco and London campuses. Indian students who have completed Class 12 with a minimum 55% aggregate qualify. The BBA runs for three years and requires proof of English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, PTE or the Duolingo English Test, with specific score minimums confirmed during the enrolment interview.
Ques. Can Indian students work part-time on the F-1 visa at Hult USA?
Ans. Yes, F-1 visa holders can work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week during term and full-time during official school breaks. Off-campus employment is limited to Curricular Practical Training tied to the degree, which usually opens after the second term. Any Indian student planning off-campus work must first receive written authorisation from the Hult international student services team.
Ques. Does Hult International Business School require the GMAT for admission?
Ans. Hult does not require the GMAT for most master’s programmes. Applicants can submit GMAT or GRE scores optionally to strengthen the profile, but the university evaluates each application on academic transcripts, work experience and interview performance. The MBA is more selective on quantitative background but still generally does not mandate a GMAT score for admission.
Ques. Which Indian banks fund education loans for Hult International Business School?
Ans. HDFC Credila, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda have historically funded Indian students admitted to Hult. The Financial Times Global MBA recognition and the school’s US institutional accreditation help lenders classify Hult programmes as loan-eligible. Applicants should present the admission letter, cost-of-attendance document and passport at loan application to speed processing.
Ques. Can Indian students transfer between Hult International Business School campuses during a degree?
Ans. Yes, the multi-campus rotation option lets students study across two or three campuses during a single one-year master’s or MBA programme. Popular rotations for Indian students include Boston-to-London and San Francisco-to-Dubai. Rotation requires approval from the programme director, and additional visa formalities apply for each campus country beyond the primary campus of enrolment.
Ques. Does Hult accept the Duolingo English Test from Indian applicants?
Ans. Yes, Hult accepts the Duolingo English Test alongside TOEFL, IELTS and PTE for international applicants. Specific minimum scores are not publicly listed and are confirmed during the enrolment interview with the admissions team. Indian applicants who have completed their bachelor’s degree in English-medium instruction can sometimes qualify for a waiver of the standardised English test entirely.
Ques. What is the application fee refund policy at Hult International Business School?
Ans. The USD 95 application fee is non-refundable regardless of the admission decision. Indian applicants who withdraw before enrolment forfeit only the deposit paid at offer acceptance, subject to the withdrawal terms in the offer letter. Full tuition refund policies vary by campus and enrolment stage; Indian students should confirm the applicable terms in writing before making any large deposit payment.
Ques. Are interviews mandatory in Hult admissions?
Ans. Yes, the interview is a mandatory part of the Hult admissions process for master’s, MBA and BBA candidates. Interviews are conducted virtually by enrolment advisors and typically run 30 to 45 minutes covering academic background, career goals and campus fit. The interview carries significant weight in the final decision, so Indian applicants should prepare a clear career narrative and one strong reason for choosing a specific Hult campus.

Campus Life
- My college has five global campuses. Those are Boston, New York, San Francisco, Dubai and London.
- The campus at Boston is the oldest and the biggest.
- There is a big library. It has a tennis and basket ball court. You could play billiards within the campus.
- The Chinese New Year, Indian festivals, African festivals were the popular events. There were no extracurricular activities for the MBA
Fees
- The tuition fee was $60,000 paid in three installments/two installments. If paid in one shot, a concession of $4000 was given. The hostel/campus housing fee was $23200 per year. It could also be paid in two/three installments.
- The monthly expenses would be around $800(for food, transportation etc.). However, the monthly expenses are quite subjective. Also, the hostel/campus housing was quite expensive compared to other rental apartments by at least $400.
